Hockey in Edgerton.
Cleanliness was great. The only comment I would be that I would to see a healthier breakfast and better recycling of the cardboard and plastics used. Not just dumped in one bag for disposal.

I am local to this property. But there have been times each winter that a storm has come in and I choose to stay in town for work the next day rather than returning home in a nearby community. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. The building is basically new after a major remodel a few years ago. Highly recommend this property.

When I woke at 2am to being cold, I went to the heater at the window. Sign on it said 'Use thermostat'. Went to the thermostat. No lights on the unit or signs of power. Tried all the buttons to turn it on. Then, noticed that the unit had no batteries to even work. So, I froze the rest of the night. While I was up, I used the bathroom and when I was to flush, the handle didn't work. So, I removed the back lid of the toilet tank and had to reach into the water and pull the chain as it had become disconnected. Attempted to reconnect the chain to the lever but it appeared that the notch it would hook onto had broken. The remainder of the trip I had to pull the chain at the bottom of the tank to flush the toilet. I did not call the front desk as it was 2:30 in the morning. When I checked out the next morning, I told the clerk all the above. His reply was that the thermostat had power but the housekeeping must've turned it off and forgot to turn it back on when the booking was made. As for the toilet, he said, "sorry". I left very disappointed.

Pee stained bed
Slept on top of sheets as there was pee stains on the mattress covers on both of the beds. Talked to front desk and he told me that they are clean so theee is no problem with them Nasty. Nasty. Nasty

The renovations to the hotel are marvelous! But - it is a 2-story hotel and needs an elevator - esp. for us traveling seniors who don't find it safe hauling our luggage up/down the stairs. Also, the door in the back of the building does not have adequate lighting and the steps up to that door need orange paint to indicate (in the dark) that there is a step.

Hotel has no elevator. I was on crutches and had to maneuver the staircase and then proceed to the far end of the hotel Room was very small to maneuver with crutches
