It was close to where we had our convention which made it easy. The room however, had a strong bad smell. After an hour I went down stairs and spoke with the front desk who was nice enough to allow me to check other rooms . I was at 416. It had a powerful dog smell . I was told the 4th floor had been renovated recently, the hallway had a weird smell. I moved to the 2nd floor and that was a lot better. I was finally able to sleep. Breakfast was descent for being included . It had a variety of juice, coffee , cereals, fruit, breads and some hot items

Closer to perfect than most!
Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Property was clean. Hot breakfast buffet was a treat. Wouid give most everything 5 stars. It should be noted that after a good rain, the street recommended by Google Maps, has deep water standing. Property can be accesed from a different side, where water is more like puddles. I reserved a handicapped room. The portable shower seat was broken, but that was not noticeable, until i laid my hand on it for balance and one leg totally collapsed, causing a nasty fall on cold, hard tile. I reported and I feel sure that problem has been rectified. I recommend testing such things just to be safe. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is a solid 3 star hotel. Our room was clean and we slept fine. However, the facility is old and has had limited updates. For example, You can tell the bathroom counter is newer but the door is old. The wallpaper is peeling up. The fan in the bathroom does nothing. When we arrived our door was open with the security latch propping it open. This is a safety hazard and should not happen.

This property should be called a high class barn where humans can also stay. Every bed in the property can be assumed an animal has slept in it. Humans with allergies don't count at this property, because animals have a higher priority. This is not fair to the cleaning crew who has to be worried and cleaning after animals and miss the small stuff like pubic hair still let in the tub. The priority on animals is so bad, that they prefer to offer dog treats instead of a treat for a human. Why is the first floor only not designated for pets and the rest of the hotel for humans only? I've been staying at hilton properties since the early 2000s and this is the first time I've encountered such nasty conditions.

I called prior to booking to get the hotel policy for early check in. I was told that I could check in anytime of the morning for a $40 additional fee, just call the morning of travel to inform them to have the room ready. I did so and spoke to a staff who had no idea what I was talking about. He told me to call back after 7 am and speak to the manager. I did, and was already enroute and only an hour away. She was very rude and said that the housekeeper doesn’t even come in until 9 am I had to wait over an hour in my car and was charged for half a night stay just to get my room a few hours earlier. I ended up leaving after about 4 hours and didn’t even stay the night and spent almost $250 I could have chosen any hotel in the area and received better customer service for less money
