We had a wonderful time in Veroli.
The house is in a quiet setting in a beautiful part of Italy. It's a very rustic house, but has all the basic amenities, and as a bonus has air conditioning on all floors. The neighbours, who are also the cleaners, were very friendly.
From the house it was possible to visit pretty hilltop towns such as Veroli, Anagni, Alatri, Atina, Arpino etc.. Falvaterra, and Pastena have some lovely caves and there are quite a few amazing monastaries to visit in the area too.
A little further away is the Parco Nazionale di Lazio, Abruzzo and Molise, which is definitely worth a visit.
Found some amazing restaurants too, Zio Tom in Campoli Appenino and La Bottega in Atina were two of the best, not forgetting the pizzeria La Scrocchia in Veroli.
The owner was helpful and very understanding.
