Beautiful old home. Staff were great. Breakfast just Ok. Need bigger trash cans in rooms. Nice if you could supply a few sodas in room refrigerator. You offer small bottles of liquor but no mixers. We had two mice in our first room. Changed to room 1 which was much nicer. Bathrooms are small with no place to put bath supplies, make-up, etc. avoid room 12. The staff makes this this property.

Short on elegance regarding food at this B&B
Disappointed that we were not IN the historic home; no accommodation for 3 or more apparently. For the price & elegance of the home, breakfast was dismal, shameful: canned biscuit, 1 bacon, scrambled egg, fruit. Donā€™t remember description disclosing there were lots of stairs to room; no elevator. No extras of blankets, TP, or towels; have to ask. Otherwise , it was clean & convenient location to sights & good restaurants.

There is a reason why we always stay here when we are in Vicksburgā€¦the staff makes us feel so welcome! We always travel with our dog, and she is also welcomed! I especially love the history about this house, all the period furnishings, the extremely comfortable bed, and the delicious free breakfast! No more chain hotels for us in Vicksburg!!

Our first Inn and it was wonderful. The hostess was very helpful with city and tour information. I would recommend this to anyone that wants something different then a chain hotels. Excellent food !

We stayed here on our way back from vacation in Fort Worth Texas. It is the half way point. We canā€™t brag enough on the staff, very pleasant and accommodating. The room was cozy and clean. The house is so full of history and beautiful. We will definitely stay our next trip to Texas. We didnā€™t take time to eat breakfast but next time we will make time to take advantage of dinner and breakfast options for sure. The only negative which isnā€™t really negative is there is no elevator and we stayed on the 3rd floor and had to carry luggage up two flights of stair that each have 20 steps šŸ™. This isnā€™t made evident when choosing your room.

Like spending a night in a civil war era museum. Cannonballs still embedded where they hit. Imagine stepping back 185 years in time with all the modern conveniences, as much as possible. Staff went above and beyond to enhance our experience. This is a must do.

This was my second time to stay here and I enjoyed it so much. They were very accommodating and friendly. The Inn At Cedar Grove has so much history and beautiful decor. The Grant Suite is so beautiful! The pool was so nice and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful too!
