We stayed at Coles Bay Vacation Retreat only 1 night prior to our flight back home. Very nice accommodation and the owners were very approachable and pleasant. Property was very nice & the breakfast in the morning was wonderful!

The owners checked in with us twice before we arrived to ensure that we had the reservation correct, that we knew their check-in procedure, and that everything we needed and would use was well explained. We had our choice of 3 amazing breakfasts - we chose crepes that had a beautiful presentation and amazing taste. Their two standard poodles were well trained and served as ambassadors for any guests who needed an animal hug. We will recommend this amazing B & B to friends and family; and look forward to staying there the next time we are staying over in Victoria.

Cute and quiet private room with private bath!
Cute, comfortable, clean room with private bath, convenient close to the Victoria Airport, super quiet location. The hosts were lovely people and very friendly easy going. We had an amazing home cooked breakfast made to order. So delicious and much appreciated! Not too often you get stays quite so nice! Thank you for everything.

The room we got was excellent. You couldn't have asked for more amenities in a room - fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fresh water, oodles of cups, lots of outlets to plug in devices, lots of hooks to hang clothing, a drawer with items that we might have forgotten at home like shaving cream and toothbrushes, a hair dryer, a mirror outside the bathroom, lots of pillows, lots of absorbent towels, a black face cloth for makeup, books to read. It was quite amazing how well stocked one room could be. Three choices for a hot breakfast or fruit choice.

Karen, our host was friendly and attentive, greeting us on arrival with fresh muffins. She even supplied me with a canister of epsom salts when I mentioned I would have a bath in the soaker tub. All in all an exceptional and very affordable stay, just five minutes from the Victoria airport. The full breakfast is exceptional!

Lovely Surprises
What a comfy spot. Although it’s just one large room, it was very comfortable and well equipped. Lots of toiletry items available. Bed was so comfortable. Netflix available at no extra charge. We got surprised when our host provided us a plate of blueberry coffee cake and delicious yogurt in the evening. Breakfast was way beyond expectations. Awesome hosts.
