Thanksgiving weekend family stay
The rooms have been updated to some degree but the place shows a lot of signs of aging. The breaker flipped in our room when the hair dryer and coffee machine were used at once. Service was excellent and my kids raved about the fresh croissants each morning. We didn't get an opportunity to use the e-bikes but it's an excellent option as Victoria is so bike-friendly!

What they call Tobin Hood Inns and Suites is in fact a motel, known in the area as the Robin Hood Motel. It is far from Downtown, in an area not so safe (as explained to us by the cab drivers who took us from and to the place). Breakfast was a joke. I will never go to that place again.

From the outer appearance, I questioned my selection of hotel. My wife and I surprised how clean the room were. The staff was really friendly. We glad we chose this hotel. We will gladly stay here again in the future. Thank you.

The facility is dated and somewhat kept up. The doors didn’t properly close unless forced. This lead to slamming doors at all times of the night. Listening to the person snore in the next suite was somewhat disturbing. Toast, cold cereal, and yogurt isn’t a continental breakfast in comparison to other hotel offerings I’ve experienced. Better to spend another $50 and sleep elsewhere.

This property is not new or modern, but they have renovated the rooms, and our room was spotless. It's located in a quiet, picturesque neighborhood, situated close enough to amenities with in a short drive.

I didn’t like the breakfast set up at all. Ergonomically speaking, counterspace in the great room, where the continental breakfast was served is very poorly laid out and your elbow to elbow with people jammed into a small space because it wasn’t properly designed. I would change that if I was the management of this establishment. The room is very clean and the bed was comfortable, but there is a certain amount of street noise because of the location.
