The hotel staff were so nice. The hotel was srunning.I feel like at US hotels they would scrounge the beautiful scenery dining room for only the expensive, elite dinner crowd and not allow the free breakfast to take place in that same dining room just out of pretention. The free breakfast was great. Especially the smoked salmon and breads. Dinner at Rangar was also fabulous. I would stay again. They have a staff the does wake up calls for Northern Lights all night, if you would like. We missed out on our night there due to rain.

What a great experience! Highly recommended!
AMAZING stay at Hotel Kria, highly recommended! We loved the modern style, the comfortable room, the wonderful common area as well as games room, the convenient location, and the unbelievable breakfast. Will definitely recommend and hope to stay again upon our return to this beautiful country!

The room was overpriced compared with other similarly priced hotels. It did not have a hot tub or sauna. The room itself was very small. It did have a comfy bed.

Great modular style hotel. Clean, comfortable and cozy. Loved how the window/door opened to a gorgeous view of the mountains. Heated bathroom floor was delightful. The bed was firm and the room was quiet. Highly recommended

Definitely our favorite hotel that we stayed at during our week in Iceland. Luxurious, friendly staff, great bar/restaurant, and a quick walk to everything in Vík. Best of all, we got to see a fantastic Northern Lights display with some other guests from right behind the hotel - no need to get in the car or join a tour. Can’t wait to go back someday!
