Stylish hotel, mountain view room had doors that opened to the rear of the hotel which allowed us to take in the views of the mountain and sky at night. Facilities are good, staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby outside of the hotel facilities are limited but includes a supermarket, excellent pizza restaurant and no doubt several lovely walks. We were in a rush to see other places along the road but managed to walk up to the church and see the views over Vik in the morning, well worth a visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel . Staff were excellent, particularly in the restaurant , when we notified them one of party had a nut allergy , they were very considerate. We also had a wake up call for the Northern lights which was excellent.

Gorgeous property with a sexy, modern vibe. The restaurant on site was delicious, cocktails were spectacular and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend. Close by to stores, gas stations, and restaurants, and a short drive to black sand beach with views of it from room.

Great hotel in Vik, perfectly located in between the mountains and sea (black sand beach). Cosy atmosphere and set-up and a very nice playroom above the restaurant.

Modern hotel. Extremely clean (and I get easily "skeeved" at hotels), really good food and helpful, friendly staff. They did give us a wake-up call, as promised, when the Aurora appeared. I would absolutely recommend this hotel - but it isn't cheap (but nothing in Iceland is). I feel it was worth the money. I didn't love Vik but it did have everything a traveler needs, in town.
