Lucilo and Nirma are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, making us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. The rooms are newly renovated, comfortable, and stylish, providing a perfect retreat. Both the restroom and bedroom are spacious and well-appointed. The rooftop swimming pool is a fantastic amenity, especially on hot days, offering a refreshing escape and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Breakfast is a highlight (offered by “las dos flaquitas”), with delicious offerings that we highly recommend. Additionally, Nirma’s son, Junior, is a gem. He knows all the best spots in the city and is well-connected with everyone. If you need anything, just ask Junior, and he’ll find the perfect solution for you. Our stay in Viñales was truly exceptional thanks to their hospitality and attention to detail. We can’t wait to return!

Incredible place with beautiful community vibe
Staying at Casa Lucilo y Nirmo offered us a true taste of Cuba. It was perfect from start to finish - the rooms were clean and perfect, sitting on the terrace at the front enabled us to watch the community and the world go by. The family are so friendly and will help you with anything you need even though they don't speak English. If we came back to Vinales I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The powercuts can be challenging but this is across Cuba so you must be prepared for this - especially for AC during the evening.

Fabulous stay with the sweetest owners. The casa is centrally located but still in a very peaceful neighborhood- extremely safe. The rooms were spectacular with lovely touches and en-suite bathrooms. Lucilo and Nirma were very proactive and helped us plan of stay - it did make the difference! The activities and sights they recommended were top! We particularly loved the sunsets at the rooftop and being able to pet the cute pet they have called Bruno :) Lastly , the casa can arrange your rides to and from Vinales which is very convenient ! Thank you for an amazing stay !

Unforgettable stay at Casa Lucilo y Nirma! We could not ask for better hosts full of great tips and kindness. We booked all trips and restaurants with then and all recommendations were amazing . They made our stay so placid and enjoyable with reliable and timely service. The rooms are amazing compared to the local standard. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and overlooks the famous mogotes - both from the pool or the rocking chairs. The breakfast offered at the casa is perfect - plentiful and tasty ! Do yourself a favor and book them !

We can only highly recommend Casa Lucilo y Nirma ! Once we checked in, they warmly greeted us and set the tone for a perfect stay ! Lucilo y Nirma are extremely helpful , attentive, caring and go above and beyond to make you feel like at home. We based our entire stay on their tour recommendations and local venues to eat and drink. The sunrise hike and the horse trip were our of this world-such an authentic way to explore the valleys and wild nature of Vinales! They also recommended local restaurants and each time we were speechless - restaurant to catch one of the most gorgeous sunsets in the island and another resto with idilic views nestled in the heart of Valle de Vinales. The rooftop terrace is just gorgeous , such an added value to the casa- it is ideal to freshen up after our days exploring. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable , with ensuite luxury bathroom and A/C. Rooms are very safe and are also peaceful to sleep and relax. The breakfasts are very tasty and diverse , plenty of fruits and freshly made every morning! Transportation arrangements are available -the family can get you anywhere in Cuba, comfortably ! Best place to stay in town!

Impecable stay with the the most delightful people ! We cannot say enough about our stay with Lucilo y Nirma ! It was simply perfect ! The casa is very peaceful , full of good vibes and managed by an incredibly friendly and helpful family. They offer the healthiest and richest breakfast in town, definitely a must have. They can arrange trips and excursions to amazing sunrises and off the beaten track valleys . The horse tour was our favorite ! The rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated - great value for the money ! The showers are the most amazing we had in Cuba . The green terrace is like a little jungle with lots of plants , ideal to relax and have a drink :) The rooftop pool is an A , very cool views of the mogotes and neighborhood. We would take a swim every day enjoying the amazing sunsets and fresh breeze. If you need transportation arrangements , simply ask Lucilo y Nirma, they can get you anywhere you want in Cuba for affordable prices and with very comfortable cars. Fallen in love with Vinales
We had the most amazing stay in this casa in Vinales. The room was beautifully clean, the breakfast was by far the best we had in Cuba and Alex was a great host, very informative about things to do in the area. We had a couple of powercuts while we were there but that's to be expected so it wasn't a huge issue. Vinales is absolutely beautiful, laidback, friendly and full of lovely bars and restaurants with great live music. We wish we had booked for longer and will hopefully go back some day. Alex if you read this I would love to get in touch with the lady that came round on the saturday morning with the clothes thinking they were mine - she said Bruno was her dog's father? Our stay at Lucilo y Nirma exceeded our expectations! Once we booked, the hosts reached with vital information regarding our Cuba trip! They arranged a lovely car with A/C from our door in Havana to their gorgeous home! Upon arrival , Alex graciously offered local tips as for excursions/must dos and places to eat and sip on cocktails! You would be a fool if you do not follow Alex s advice -his recommendations made our Vinales stay a memorable one ! We booked the entire home and we were so comfortable and happy throughout our entire stay! The rooms , as mentioned in other comments, are simply gorgeous. A chic and minimalist decor with very thoughtful touches and all the amenities you may need for a great stay! The family is very attentive and are readily available to take care of their guests needs! WE ABSOLUTELY loved the rooftop terrace! A rooftop pool and great views is just what we needed on vacation! Top choice for Vinales! Highly recommended!

Absolutely the best casa in Vinales! A mix of local vibes with a touch of luxury :)The hosts are very authentic, kind, friendly , welcoming and proactive towards their guests needs and comfort! Alex, the main host, can design local experiences that will create fond memories of your stay in Vinales ! The entire home & rooms are tastefully decorated ,impeccably clean and super comfortable. Ensuite private bathrooms are one of the best added values. Breakfasts are amazing, freshly made every morning & so rich & diverse. The new rooftop terrace has a gorgeous pool and stunning mogote views - the peace and tranquility from there over sunsets is unbeatable ! A little slice of heaven in Vinales! Alex & his family welcomed us with great hospitality, courtesy, education and impeccable advice to better enjoy the splendor of Vinales. Alex speaks perfect English and is a concierge host !-He can assist with advice to arrange from gorgeous sunset dinners at local farms to glamping to watch the most mind blowing sunrise ! The rooms are exceptionally clean and decorated with fine taste & are of a very high standard compared to the rest of Cuba accommodations. The bathrooms are quite luxurious and look like a magazine design! The rooftop pool with stunning views remains in our heart as we spent the most beautiful hours watching the sunsets over some local rum and cigars of course! Alex has also been very proactive in helping us to solve some inconveniences that can arise when traveling to distant and complicated countries like this one. We felt at home and safe! Our stay with Lucilo y Nirma exceeded our expectations! Upon booking, they proactively reached to us to send vital instructions for our trip! . They arranged our transport to Havana -lovely car with A/C and door to door. Alex (son of the family) checked us in & set the tone for an unforgettable stay ! He shared his advise for experiences & places to eat! Alex recommended the best sunsets dinners & off the beaten track experiences! We never expected to find such combination of luxury & comfort in the rural area of Vinales. Room was a artfully decorated space with plenty of natural light & A/C. The bathrooms have new stylish barn doors for privacy, amazing design & reminded us of the feeling of going into a spa- the rain showers , the decorative light & the touches in the space make the shower experience just delicious! Breakfast were the best throughout our stay in Cuba-freshly made every morning ! Our experience was the best & would highly recommend this hidden gem in Vinales. Do not book anywhere else!

The worst place I stayed in Cuba
They do not have all the services they advertise and they send you to other hotels to pay to use them. This is essentially fraud. After I arrived I was told that they did not have drinking water and that guests have to buy their own in the town. They didn't say this before I arrived and the shops were shut so I went thirsty. They say that wifi is included but you have to pay by the hour and they also don't sell the cards that give you internet so you have to travel across the town. They also turn off the router regularly meaning that they are constantly guests asking to turn on the internet. The tours and taxis they organised were useless. The street they are on has lots of animals, including lots of roosters so it is impossible to get a good nights sleep. They said this was normal for Cuba but it was not normal everywhere I went and I travelled a lot. Of the 5 places I stayed in Cuba this was by far the worst and I would not go back.

This charming casa was immaculate. I was struck immediately with the lovely courtyard filled with tropical plants. The family and staff were so welcoming and helpful, organizing transportation and assisting with different activities. I had a lovely stay. Everyone is super nice and super helpful. The family organised all my taxis and tours and even my restaurant reservation at Paradisi (?) fir sunset for me, and made everything easy. The casa has plenty of outside space in the courtyard and up on the first floor terrace and deck to spread out. And not forgetting Bruno, the lovely friendliest lab.

We wholeheartedly do recommend Casa Lucilo y Nirma. Our stay here was amazing and the highlight of our Cuba trip ! The casa has Two terraces full of plants and are ideal to chilax . One of the terraces has a lovely view specially when the sun is setting. Hosts are very kind and extremely helpful . They can arrange your stay if you wish so and I would highly recommend to follow their advise :) We went on trips they arranged and no regrets! The rooms are beyond extraordinary for the Cuban standards , well equipped with powerful A/C and minibar , Two double beds with soft and super clean sheets are details they matter ! The showers are amazing , photos Do not make justice to these luxurious and delightful bathrooms! Breakfasts were delicious and nutritious- do not go anywhere else for breakfast ❤️ We only wish we could live in the area and own such a sweet home !

Fabulous stay! We are delighted we chose to stay with Lucilo y Nirma! We fell in love with it immediately! This casa is a hidden gem in Vinales Valley. The owners are very warm , gracious, friendly and will make you feel like at home! You will feel like in family but at the same time they will respect your privacy! The rooms are gorgeous, kind of luxurious with plenty of amenities and CHARMING bathrooms. They offer two terraces full of green to chillax, this will only make it feel more private and inviting ! The property and owners are gay friendly, this js the reason we decided to choose this property for our stay! Traveling as a gay couple in Cuba and booking the wrong place, can definitely change the feel of your trip! Do stay with Lucilo y Nirma, you'll understand why we loved it so much !

Casa Lucilo y Nirma was one of the many reasons we fell in love with Vinales! Very good vibes and the puppy Bruno will make you feel like at home! The casa owners were lovely and extremely accommodating. They would go out of their way to assist you with just anything you can think of. They arranged all of our tours and transport for us and pointed out some great locations for food in the town. They even arranged for a pick up to take us to a farm to watch the sunset and have dinner. The room was spectacular and had very fancy bathrooms with LOVELY showers! It’s in a fantastic location, no traffic and in a very very quiet neighborhood. Thank you for a memorable stay!

This casa particular is spotless, comfortable and owned but the sweetest hosts!. Each room we rented had two double beds, a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, water and a shower with hot and cold water.The most beautiful rooms we saw in Cuba, we were amazed by the elegance and the design of the the gorgeous bathrooms. Great rooftop terrace as well as a couple of rocking chairs expands your living area. The hosts will arrange a memorable horseback riding for you. As well they arranged a walking tour through the National park where we visited an organic coffee farm, and rum maker, tobacco farm with hand rolled cigars, a cave and an overlook with refreshment stand.Overall, great experience, great value and exceptional service !
