Where do I begin, first the property never stated it was under remodel, the place was a complete dump, pictures of stains on the couch, stains on walls and cig butts in sink and the smell of smoke for the 2 days I had let them know we have to change rooms but they said they were sold out, if I had a chance to get another hotel I would have.We sucked it up but super disappointed in the hotel, I know of others that were disgusted

It would have been nice to know in advance that a big part of the hotel was under construction. The floors to our room was concrete the walls were sheetrock. Our room was fine except no couch as pictures showed (just a big empty spot). We asked about it and was told we didnt have one because of the construction. Bathroom shower had no shelf/place to put shampoo etc. Bathroom outlet did not work. Staff around hotel was friendly front desk not as much.

Major renovations
This place was going through major renovations on the exterior when we stayed. It didn’t affect our stay much other than it didn’t look great. Our room was clean and comfy. The free breakfast was a nice touch. They did seem to have items out in the open that needed to be placed in storage. I’m sure this place will be a lot better once everything is complete.

Not much of a hot breakfast selection, there were 2 different cereals, waffles and toast/bagels. My heat didn't work in the room (yes the heat 😂 it was in the 50s my whole visit) I had it at 80. Other than that it was decent.

Needs updating and I did not like that they allowed so much noise at 12/2 am in the morning from guest children and balcony doors sounded horrible I was very uncomfortable especially in the elevator just horrible stay sorry will never return

The hotel is currently under major renovations.Which was not stated anywhere.They had no heat in the lobby due to renovations.The thermostat read 47 degrees.They were sawing in the ceiling and had to stop when you entered.The elevators were so crappy.The elevator person had to come at one point and check them out because he got an alert it was overheating. At one point when we went down the,it rocked up and down like it was about to break.Scared me!There was no "free hot breakfast" as stated.The only hot food was waffles.So they offered waffles,yogurt,cereal,muffins,fruit and bagels.Not the buffet trays of hot food like shown.We were put on the floor with all the people with dogs I feel because there were 8 dogs on our floor.They would bark when they heard you talk or open/shut your door.My room key didn't work when I got all the way to my room which was the top floor with 2 young children and all our belongings.I had to go back down and get it reprogramed.It was dirty and out of date.They were up at 8am with their machinery outside our window working and the machinery beeping on a Sunday morning. It honestly should be shut down until they are done renovations.The towel I grabbed to use had a black stain on it and someone elses hair tangled in it. The whole left side of the building is boarded up like it's vacant due to renovations.I was not happy with my stay and will never be back.

Property was nice and clean. Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. They are currently doing construction so that’s the only thing that woke me up haha but other all a great stay and will book again! Had an ocean view and a balcony to enjoy the sounds and breeze.

The staff was fine, the room was clean. The bathroom soap was the tiniest I've ever seen. The hotel is under renovation (still) so its very noisy during the day. The balcony door made an extremely loud noise when opened. The parking lot is a half block away & costs $10. Very inconvenient to check in because there is no place to park.

My wife and I had made arrangements to drive down through obx to hatteras as our Valentine’s Day gift to our selfs . So no kids just us first real break in 4 years ( 4 kids Ages11-1). As we’re driving she books a killer deal and dose not realize she booked the hotel in Virginia Beach ,VA where we live not the one in the obx or Nc , we stopped for gas and looked over the itinerary and realized what had happened , we called the hotel would answer then put us on hold till we hung up over 25 min of waiting and I called back 3 times Same thing and online that killer deal had a non refundable clause even through it sold us a $4.99 protection plan in case something like this happened but I guess they got me . Didn’t even offer to change the date or reschedule just took my money so we stayed somewhere . Enjoy
