So close to everything but quiet, clean room!
This was a welcomed stay! The room was so clean and neat and I appreciate the staff so much. Its not until you've had a bad experience with a stay that you really appreciate the great stay! This is definitely a wonderful place. So close to food and convenience but the room itself was a quiet getaway! Wonderful staff, so friendly! Cannnot recommended highly enough! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

I had stayed at Red Roof Virginia Beach exactly 2 years ago and the room was not very clean. I asked for non smoking and it clearly smelled smokey and musty. The dead bolt was broken and falling off the door. I personally tightened it. There were fresh towel for me and the waste baskets were empty, but didn't feel that the overall cleanliness was there. I only needed the room for one night, but did need to have a later check out time, which I was informed was not possible. OH WELL

Another wonderful stay at the Red Roof! Room was nice and clean, bed was so comfortable, and the pool was really nice after a long hot day. Top notch stay and service every time, I always look for a Red Roof Inn when I need a room.

Seems like since last year same time stay property is not quite as clean as before. Rooms were clean, but bed mattress was awful. Very hard and uncomfortable. Seems lots of thugs were hanging around the stairs area made it uncomfortable getting in and out. Definitely needs some maintenance on the outside.

There is a saying that “You get what you pay for”. This is a 2-star hotel indeed. My daughter and I drove from Baltimore to VA Beach for her college orientation. I inadvertently requested a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room. After driving almost 4 hours, we arrived to a dirty, Smokey room including dirty bedding and a sticky floor. Someone even sprayed their initials on the mirrors. The toilet, sink, and tub was FULL of hair-grime.Instead of depending on housekeeping to “reclean” the room, we decided to visit Target get some cleaning supplies and clean the room top to bottom including the bedding since we would be there for a week. We woke up the next day to the housekeeping staff working in the laundry and room next to us cursing, loudly talking and smoking next to our room. I was also scheduled to work remotely using hotels internet connection. That didn’t happen. The front desk, the owner and IT staff were no help. This stressed us both out with all the things we had to deal with over the week then this thing with the Red Roof Inn. Both of us are clean freaks which this situation set both of us off. My daughter kept sneezing from the smoke in the walls. We also had to keep going to the front desk because of the highly sensitive credit card keys. The only upside was the nearby shopping and beautiful neighborhood I could take my daily walk. This will definitely be our last stay here. Hopefully this helps the Red Roof Inn VA Beach improve.
