The annexe where we stayed was beautifully clean and comfortable. Older patrons or people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are three flights of stairs to be climbed (with luggage) in order to get to some of the annexe rooms.

Charming apartment in a charming town
We stayed in their apartment, and it was very spacious, well-maintained despite being a bit dated, and full of character with its charming architecture. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. We were initially concerned about noise at night, but it became quiet around 11:00 PM every evening. The breakfast was delicious, although it lacked daily variety. It was a classic European breakfast with no hot items except for a make-your-own waffle station.

Great spot
Wonderful three-night stay in one of their annex apartments. The space was very nice, quiet and well-lit. (We had no upstairs neighbors during our offseason stay.) Staff was helpful and friendly in every interaction, and breakfast was excellent—really increased our sense of value. Location is in the old city and a short walk to sights within the walls, with a couple of grocery stores and more not far outside the walls.

Cozy stay at Villa Borgen. The service was low-key - it seemed to be only one person - but it was all done well. Excellent breakfast - the different smoothies each morning were a treat! Good location near Söderport. Cute courtyard. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and cozy family owned hotel
A cozy family owned hotel. It is a little bit off the coast up on the hill side, but only 5mins away from the city center. Very clean and neatly kept. The furniture is not the luxury type, but reasonably sturdy and fixed up thoughtfully in the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. They most time keeps out of your way unless you ask.

This hotel is perfect except for one small thing. There was a fairly strong smell I associated with dampness and mildew in the bathroom and the entryway area to our room. Otger than that its sn excellent location and a really beautiful place. The common areas are great for entertaining and the breakfast was simple but delicous and fresh.

A great place - lovely fresh rooms in a brilliant setting inside the Medieval old town. The complimentary breakfast was great, fresh and healthy. The staff were helpful and quick to sort out any issues.

Modest Shelter in Visby
The owners and staff have done everything possible to provide their guests with a first rate experience. Unfortunately, the windowless room lacked any semblance of charm or comfort. Junior suite would be a good deal for a small family or four good friends who will spend little time in the room.

Vistelsen på Gotland över lag var fantastiskt, tyvärr kommer vi inte bo på det här hotellet igen. Ingen info att rummet låg en bra långt bort i deras annex och dessutom en vindsrum med jobbiga trappor för tunga resväskor. Dom hade inte städat, i kylen låg det gammal mat och toaletten inkl wc var ej städat och inget wc papper. Rummet städades ej på hela vår vistelse då dom enbart lämnade toapapper och nya handdukar utanför dörren. Vi Klagade men fick ingen respons och inget erbjudande om ersättning eller byte av rum, trist då det här hotellet är rätt dyrt att bo på. Frukosten va sådär, helt ok för vissa men vi skippade att att äta deras frukost då urvalet på gluten & laktosfritt ej fanns. Rekommenderar att bo på något annat hotell i Visby. Vi kommer inte bo här igen.
