Welcome and thank you for visiting the STONE HOUSE FARM listing page! My name is David, and along with my wife Brodie, we are the owners and hosts of this special property. For the past five years, we have had the joy of sharing Stone House Farm with guests and hearing how much they love the beautifully-restored farmhouse, rural views, trail walks, family games, birdwatching, bonfires, and much more!
Located just outside the southwest metro of the Twin Cities, Stone House Farm offers an extraordinary setting for a rural lodging experience. And yet it’s so close to the metro that many guests stay at the farm as their home base while visiting the Twin Cities!
The farm is distinguished by its unique, nearly 100-year-old, superbly-clean, 3-bedroom, 2-bath stone farmhouse. You’ll be surrounded by 115 private acres of rolling hills, native grasses, and mature trees. The secluded "Back 40” natural area with a meandering creek and maintained trails is a special place to walk, cross-country ski, and view wildlife.
Guests come from near and far to enjoy all the farm has to offer—cookouts by the outdoor fireplace, stories and s'mores over the bonfire ring (split wood provided), family fun like horseshoes, corn hole, ping pong, table games, piano, mountain bikes (provided), or just kicking back and taking in the picturesque rural views.
Venture off the farm to visit the many area attractions—Minnesota's Largest Candy Store, Valley Fair, many golf courses and lakes, horseback riding, zip lining, fall festivals, apple orchards, and much, much more.
The Psalmist wrote, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul.” We hope this is what you experience at Stone House Farm.

The farmhouse is set back a quarter mile from quiet Sawmill Road and perched atop a hill with beautiful views in nearly every direction. Each season at the farm—winter, spring, summer, and fall—offers its own unique experience!
