The White Horse Lodge was very convenient in our few days trip around Vermont. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room, though small, was clean and comfortable. This would be an excellent choice for skiers- close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Nice facilities include a living room and game room.

They said they upgraded you but the room they put you in had no window. They don’t have any pictures in their advertising of this room. All rooms advertised show sunny window rooms. Beware! It is also located up a flight of stairs. Beware, they are not doing you any favors. Also, no staff to greet you on arrival as advertised.

Well I put this one on me. I should have done my homework a little better. The room we had was smaller than my college dorm room. The bathroom was tiny and the shower very tiny. The shower curtain liner was dirty and needs to be replaced. There was so much light coming into the room from the hallway it was liking trying to sleep in the middle of the day. It was also very noisy. The dehumidifier was loud. If my husband and I got two hours of sleep it was plenty. We were just thankful we had only booked for one night. We do not recommend this facility.

White Horse Lodge was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The bed was very comfortable and the common living area was very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the comfy couches in front of the gas fireplace.

The Lodge was a little ways out of town but that’s good with us. The escape from the hustle and bustle of life was just what we needed.
