Cosy private one bedroom cottage by the lake set in a beautiful garden with relaxing water views and access to fishing and walking tracks. Wake up to lake views and the sound of bell birds in this tranquil piece of nature.
Fishing rods, prawning tools, a new Stand Up Paddle board and a fibre glass single kayak are available at the house to be used and looked after by the guests.

Fantastic as always
We've stayed at this cabin several times now and it's the perfect getaway. It feels really remote yet it's close to everything you need to be comfortable and all of the amenities are super comfortable. Will definitely return again and again.

Magic location
The cottage is comfortable, cosy and clean with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Particularly appreciated the new kitchen, deck overlooking the lake, the kayak and stand-up paddle board, and great facilities like a washing machine and proper clothesline. The location is absolutely incredible - direct lake access, loads of birds, and only a short walk to the beach. The reviews for this place are great and now I can see why! Communication was excellent, including a lovely personal note from the housekeeper. Would love to come back.

Property was amazing. Location also was great. But the property manager forgot to keep the keys in the key box. We were stranded for over 35 mins. We finally got a hold of the owner and he hped us out with the spare key that he had kept hidden.

We stayed an extra night because this is such a peaceful location with a beautiful outlook. The house is thoughtfully equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Perfect for a couple and dogs to take time out. We will be back.

Idyllic spot
Well fitted out cabin in idyllic spot. Our Labrador met a local visiting roaming Labrador and had the best time romping in the yard. You arrive to the sound of bellbirds. In the morning, it is magpies. Shopping at Bermagui is fast and easy. You won’t be able to take your eyes off the view.

The property is located in a relaxing spot with lots of nature and walks. You can hear the waves from the beach which was so relaxing and nice way to go to sleep at night. My little dog also enjoyed the time.

Arrived at night -no light at gate or in yard, apart from distant garage light. No yard lights to show way to key box at property entrance remote from parking area. Dangerous without lights (solar needed) Interior -couldn't find air conditioner. Multiple bare cables emerging from dining room wall not safe Would not book here again

Great place let down by experience with owner
Our time at Beauty Point Wallaga Lake was one of two experiences. Firstly the good points: the property is in a lovely spot being on the lake front, is quiet and close to some lovely walks from the cottage and great places by car. However, we had an issue with the cleaning and cooking facilities that prompted me to contact the owner. The freestanding cooker’s oven was filthy; the controls were covered in grease. Furthermore, there are no visible settings on the oven and hob controls as they have been worn away, so you are working blind, once you have cleaned the grease off them. Additionally, there were no oven trays to place food on; the only saucepans available were 2 X 1 Litre saucepans and 1 X 7 litre saucepan. Ridiculous for self-catering. I raised the above issues with the owner and got this back “What you see is what you get. From hundreds of people that stayed over all managed to make use of the premises”. So somewhat alarmed I raised this with VRBO who agreed with me that the owners tone was inappropriate to the extent that I was refunded 15% as valued repeat VRBO customer. The owner’s manner is hostile and should think more of his paying customers. Shame!

Serenity location
Location was so quiet, nestled near the lake, bird life amazing even two eagles paid us a visit Cottage suited us perfectly, everything was there that we needed. Comfortable bed clean and tidy. Outside areas are perfect for that quiet afternoon drink and nibble, warmer weather perfect for any meal. our two dogs had No issues with local dog owners with their dogs wandering through the backyard off leash, the small back deck suited all of us
