The Space:
Emus Nest by Tiny Away is the nearest accommodation in Warragul, just 6 minutes from the tiny home and an hour's drive from Melbourne. Logan Park, Civic Park, Taco Bill Warragul, Hogget Kitchen, and the Coffee Pod are just a few of the recommended attractions our vacationers enjoy.
This 190-square-foot tiny home has a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for you to use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to inform guests that the main house is quite separate from the tiny house. If you're interested, our property also hosts a function venue for group events.
As an added note, there will be a second tiny house called "Brumbys Run" that sits on the same property, strategically placed just a little over 10 meters apart. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to tiny house and its surroundings, including the car parking area provided. If you're looking to visit shops, this retreat is the closest accommodation in Warragul.
SAFETY NOTICE: Guests are advised to keep an eye on their children at all times as the stairs to the loft are quite steep.

- Healesville Sanctuary is home to a variety of native Aussie wildlife and interactive activities for everyone to enjoy.
- Alpine Trout Farm is well-known for supplying the highest quality products (i.e., trout) to its domestic and international consumers.
- Civic Park is the perfect place to play with the children, with a playground, water fountains on the small pond, and open space for kiting.
- Toorongo Falls is a great bushwalking track with spectacular views of natural towering gum trees, lush ferns, and streams cascading over the granite falls.
- Trestle Bridge is one of Victoria's most historic trestle bridges and popular tourist attractions, surrounded by dense tall forest and an old railway line from Noojee.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 12 mins drive from Drouin
- 6 mins drive from Warragul
- 1 hr drive from Melbourne
- 2 hr drive from Paynesville. However, we recommend guests travel by their private vehicle transport for easy access to nearby attractions. Taxi’s Service is available from Warragul CBD
By public transport: Public buses do travel to the area, but require quite a walk to reach the property.

- Wifi is not available
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Mobile reception is overall average, but good with Telstra
- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- We have an emu, horses, alpacas, cats, chickens, and sheep on our property
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety Guidelines
- We advise guests to keep an eye on children inside as the stairs to the loft is quite steep
- Guests with infants are recommended to bring their own portable travel cot during their stay
- We strictly advise guests to follow these safety guidelines to avoid potential accidents on the property
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Please be advised that there will be other guests on site as there is another tiny house on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.
