What a charming old house (a neighbor I chatted with each morning while he walked his dog and I sat on the porch told me the house was built in the mid 1800's) - very comfortable and well laid out - the 5 bedrooms upstairs were perfect for the 13 of us. The only confusion we experienced was with the cable/satellite TV - turned out we needed a subscription to a streaming service to watch live TV - my son has a HULU subscription, so we were fine. Unless we missed something, this was our only issue. The location, in quiet Warrensburg, was close enough to Lake George to be convenient, and far enough away to give us peace and quiet from the crowds in LG. The river right behind the house is shallow enough for the kids to swim in without worrying their parents, and, to my surprise, as clean as any water I've seen in a very long time. The deck overlooking the river was the perfect spot for a quiet early morning coffee, and large enough for all of us to eat dinner out there each night. A plus is the washer and dryer - lots of bath towels to wash and dry with so many of us. My wife and kids are already talking about coming back next year. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
