The town itself has a vast history, dating back to the imperial times of the Romans when the town was founded on the banks of River Mersey. Since its foundation, the town became famous for its industrial and manufacturing, but there is much more to this town than industries. We also have Walton Hall & Gardens which was the former home of Lord and Lady Daresbury, Children’s Zoo, and Golf courses.
