After a day of working or exploring the city, retreat to this close-by quiet family friendly gem of a neighborhood. Once inside, cozy up next to the fireplace, unwind with friends/family at the fire pit, or call it a night and fall into a sea of blankets and pillows in our cozy beds. Perfect for families, friends, or business stays. Our urban retreat accommodates groups of 8 or less.

I could not recommend Clare's place more! The location was absolutely perfect for our family trip to DC and in a beautiful neighborhood. There is a metro with parking just a few minutes away or it took us 20-40 minutes to get into DC depending on traffic. The house was beautiful with a great setup for families. The deck and yard was gorgeous with room to run around and play and even a swing! The beds and couches were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The neighbors were super friendly as well- stopping to introducing themselves and offering assistance if needed. Clare was very responsive any time I reached out. I was nervous with the limited reviews, but I guarantee you this house is exactly as described and will not disappoint. Thanks so much, Clare!

This was a great little place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. The house was enough space for us and our 2 young boys. Having a fenced in backyard was really nice! Clare did a great job with communicating. She even gave me a heads up she was in Europe, but I couldn’t tell based on her response time. We had a great time in DC and this was a great place to stay. It was close enough, but still residential enough that traffic wasn’t an issue. 30 minutes on the Metro Rail to the Smithsonian station. I’m not sure you could do that in a car. About an hour from Dulles and 20 minutes to Reagan National Airport, all by Metro. Great location for a home base. 10/10 would stay here again!
