Transportation to downtown DC was extremely easy with the tunnel to the metro under the hotel. The made to order omelettes at breakfast were delicious. I wish the pre-made items like sausage, eggs etc were warmer. The room was spacious and comfortable and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool at the end of each busy day. There was plenty of parking in the downstairs garage as well. Hope to see the mall revitalized so that there are more shopping options in the building. We’d stay again.

The property was good for easy access to the metro which we used daily to get around to all the places we wanted to see. Needs a little up grade on the lamps in the room. The pool never had clean, dry towels every time we were there so that was a little upsetting. Smaller pool that anticipated by the pictures online. Breakfast and happy hour was a perk and the staff were friendly.

Very run down inside the room and the property. There is lots of construction in the "mall" it's part of, making it difficult to get around. It feels as if this place is headed toward closing and not being invested in any further. I would stay away.

The hotel was great, definitely kid friendly so be prepared to see the little fellas running around & dont expect to use the pool facilities haha. But room was clean, microwave provided, complimentary breakfast is delicious & they give you some drink vouchers. Located right above the metro system to get downtown DC, very convenient. Overall a great experience, would stay again.

Suite 2 double bed , $330 Wasn’t pleasant, poor customer service, unconvenient elevator , confusing floor , when I arrive and show the font desk the booking confirmation she’s said she don’t need that , she ask my last name I give it to her she said she can’t find it , I please her looking my phone number and then she said it may not work , after please and please even I paid for my room already, she said ohh they mixing up my name and last name , she found it then I can be all set The room was dirty , no toothpaste, no vent in the bathroom not working so you will suck with all the bad smell , no Chanel , no YouTube , refrigerator not working , breakfasts service with Indian chef’s , he horible . He giving the food even worse then he blessing the homeless. Totaly they not got pay enough to do or love them job ! One word: terible

Mediocre - not bad not good - found hair

Positives: room was spacious, good location above the Friendship Heights Metro Station. Cons: two of us sneezed constantly - probably not clean enough since they let pets stay with people. We found hairs on our beds that clearly weren’t ours. The breakfast was mediocre - no soda machine (wasn’t working), all food was low quality - low quality scrambled eggs, clearly from frozen potatoes, from frozen sausage, and the omelette turns out runny. On the third day they suddenly didn’t allow people to take their own food from the buffet and had every station turned the other way so you had to ask for each item. So clearly someone was upset.. Also, when I arrived early they said there was no room ready (that’s fine), but didn’t take my name or anything … and 30 minutes later they called me begging me to give my accessible room to someone else if possible… funny how suddenly they asked me for a favor over the phone after not giving me the time of day at the desk in person.

From the moment i checked in I felt at home. The concierge was so welcoming and pleasant! The room was beyond my expectations. Spacious. Comfortable. I enjoyed Happy Hour and Breakfast...all top-notch. I plan to return to take advantage of the pool and fitness center.
