The hotel facility was very nice. Great location and well maintained. Room was large and exactly as pictured. Areas were clean and well kept. Great area for our stay. I would have score the facility higher except a major customer service issue. Due to booking issue we asked to check out one day earlier than scheduled. The front desk said because booked through Expedia we needed to contact Expedia. That was easy. Expedia contacted the facility and they refused refund, which was reasonable. When I tried to speak with the manager on the telephone I was surprised by how rude the telephone front desk rep was. She denied that Expedia had contacted them. Asked who I spoke with at Expedia. When I read her the text from Expedia she put the manager on the phone who simply stated “no” and handed the phone back to the front desk operator who my partner said was clearly looking for a fight. All of the managers I was told were in a meeting so we checked out and voicemails went unreturned. Upon retrospect we should have gone over arrival and depart dates at check in. That was not done. We were not told about our credit until check out. It really hanged the tone of our stay. While there was nothing wrong with our stay we did not ask for any accommodations and o we looked the room not being tidied the first day. We simply asked for more towels. This is a good place if you are not looking for any luxury or service. I feel if there are billing errors you put yourself at risk.
