Steps away from green line metro. Breakfast was decent (though everyday was a different cooked version of pre-liquified egg mixture) with very attentive, kind, friendly staff running it. Lots of places to eat nearby. Kitchen in room was limited but good enough. Room showed wear with stained sofa, torn carpet and peeling paint in shower, but it was fine for a 4 night stay.

We enjoyed our stay in DC. The location was great, the staff was friendly and they were as helpful as they could be. The breakfast was good, the room was a decent size, and the kitchen had everything we needed. However, as a family of five the beds were lacking. What we usually do is have our three kids share the bedroom while my husband and I take the pull out couch. This feels safer as the bedroom does not have an outside door and it allows us to stay up later and move about freely. We know not to expect a pull out couch to be as comfortable as a regular bed, but this mattress was unbearable. We have used this strategy many times at other hotels with no problems. This mattress was thin and you could feel all the metal poking out without even needing to push on it. The mattress was also saturated in stains. We put the cover on and gave it a shot the first night and it was horrible. Hotel staff said there was nothing they could do but give us more blankets and pillows. We piled blankets on it and slept on top. Still terrible. Finally on our last night they switched out the mattress for us, but it was just as bad. We asked to speak with a manager, but was told they were not available. The staff was kind and tried to help. But a hotel should not advertise a room as capable of sleeping 5 people if they cannot do so comfortably.

Not a great stay!!!
When we arrived we were greeted right away by a man behind the desk who asked if he could help us I replied that we were checking in where he then told us the young lady standing next to us would be helping us though she was already assisting someone else and there was another person in line after them. We got to our room which was spacious though there was a large hole in the carpet and a stain on the sofa. The water pressure in the shower was amazing then I leaned my head back to rinse my hair while looking up the exhaust vent has not been cleaned in a very long time. The vent was so clogged with dust and cobwebs that it did not vent the room effectively and the bathroom fogged up quickly. The bed was quite firm which is not what I have come to expect from a Hilton property, the fitted sheet on inside out (I flipped it cause the other side was softer) and did not fit the bed properly. The next morning we were promptly woken at 830am by a house keeper knocking on the door! When my husband answered the door and said we were still sleeping (I should mention that checkout is at 11) she handed him a do not disturb sign to hang on the door saying we should have hung this and we would not have been woken! Ok fair enough but also checkout is 11 and we had not checked out yet! I gave 3 stars because the location was great and the young lady that checked us in was great! For what that room cost for one night I expected better service and basic cleanliness!

You can see the stadium from the entrance. Plenty of restaurants and the water front all in walking distance. Metro station 1 block away.

We stayed at this hotel because it is walking distance to the Nationals Park. The staff very friendly and helpful when we got to the hotel early and our room was not ready yet. We were able to drop off our luggage and explore the area before we got our room. Also, the front desk called us when our room was ready. The only down side of our stay was trying to get to the area in front of the hotel to valet park. We passed it several times before getting it right. What made it better was the gentleman working the valet was kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Great space and location, especially for access to Nationals Park and the Metro. Sports bars on the same block are loud on the weekend days and nights. Clean and comfortable, but the two-night minimum around events almost felt like price-gouging.

Hotel itself is very very nice. Only downside was valet parking. So disorganized that the city blocked it off with their vehicle till valet got their act together. Could not handle the influx of vehicles for an event.
