The Hive was well situated for sightseeing and was in a lovely safe area. When i mentioned at checkout about breakfast menu being very poor.... Brooke the front desk manager handled the complaint very professionally and politely and said she'd look into it. The way The Hive dealt with it was very pleasing, we got compensated swiftly. It made me feel happy that it wasn't just lip service but true service.

Loved everything about this hotel! Convenient location close to major attractions of the city. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. The room is small but clean and efficient. The restaurant has a simple menu but everything was delicious! I’d love to come back here for my future visits.

I liked the accommodations, however, their rooms are called "hives" (Hotel Hive) because they are a white college dorm room with a nice bathroom. My room was invaded by light from the roof to bar and the room was rather noisy until about 10:15.Black out blinds would have helped. The room was rather noisy in the morning as well with what sounded like music and moving furniture. Atmosphere is more for the younger generation.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Hive. It was in a perfect location for sightseeing around DC. The staff was so friendly and the whole place had such a great vibe. It was an absolute gem and super affordable, too. I actually might regret writing this review because it will be all booked up the next time we want to visit!
