It was within walkable distance to convention center. Valet parking only $70/day. The room we were in was very awkward to enter when carrying things and withmore than 1 person. The door has a gap at the bottom. No fridge or microwave in room. $30 for breakfast. No outlet on 1 side of bed. Could hear alarm in next door room going over seceral times. Elevators were fast. No cups in room. Air didnt quite cool enough.

Loved the location in the center of DC, very vibrant and busy. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and access to the major attractions was easy. The staff is top-notch, courteous and helpful, it feels very old school proper, but still friendly. I wish there had been a refrigerator in the room but that is really the only drawback, other than no place on the property to make change for tips. Would recommend.

My husband and I really enjoyed my stay at The Madison. The hotel staff was friendly. Nice size room that looked to be updated somewhat recently. Very nice restaurants within walking distance including reasonably priced small cafes for a quick breakfast. $71 daily for parking is outrageous. We found a parking garage across the street for $40 a night but no in and out. Only works if you don’t need to use your car more than once a day. Will definitely stay here again.
