CHARMING renovated barn with swimming pool & hot tub!

Charming renovated dairy barn with amazing pastoral views. The Barn has been lovingly renovated and has lots of family history. Our family began their dairy here in 1929. The Barn is located 8 miles north of Weatherford (Parker County).

This unique house exudes character and is furnished with every modern convenience. The Barn is a place where you will immediately feel at home, and by the time you leave, you'll feel you've made some new and treasured friends. It's a peaceful get-away where you can get in tune with the sounds of nature ... listen for the sounds of coyotes, wild turkey, birds, free-range chickens, lots of momma cows with their babies and rescue horses.

The house is 800 square feet offering clean, comfortable accommodations for a single traveler or a couple. We can also accommodate 1-2 children, but this will need to be approved in advance.

The Barn is located near the Farmhouse and another small guest house. It has a large porch, swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor wood burning fireplace, and pellet BBQ grill. The porch is the perfect place for relaxing with a book and enjoying the outdoors. The Barn is fully furnished with central heat/air, large TVs in the living room, bedroom and porch and free wifi. There is a full kitchen and full bath with large soaking tub/shower.

Pet Policy: We allow a pet under 30 pounds but must be approved in advance. Since we have free range chickens, a pet must be leashed when outside. We do not allow a pet to be left alone in the house. If you leave, you must take your pet with you or crate. Since the pool has a liner, no pets are allowed in the swimming pool.

NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE AND SWIMMING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

We are available on-site, upon request, to assure your comfort, but we also respect your privacy during your stay. The ranch is a beautiful setting with two ponds. We are 30 miles from Fort Worth and Granbury, 15 miles from Springtown and 50 miles from Glen Rose. We are less than 10 minutes from historic Weatherford which offers many shops, antiques, restaurants and a local winery.

We welcome extended stays. Listing #4065591 and #3496467 are also located on the ranch, so this is perfect for guests attending nearby wedding venues.

OUTSTANDING! Quaint and romantic getaway. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The views were beautiful. The barn was comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Bed was comfortable. The private pool was great in the summer heat. The interaction and sounds of the the farm animals made the experience unique. Close enough to town in case you need anything. Loved every minute of our stay.

Breath taking views!!!
Best most relaxing stay we have had. It was just awesome watching the sun come up with coffee and go down with a glass of wine. You feel like your in the middle of nowhere yet at the same time your only 10 min from great restaurants shopping and sight seeing. We will definitely stay again as soon as possible.

Perfect Getaway
We just wanted a peaceful, relaxing getaway for a few days with a pool. This was the perfect place. The renovated barn is perfectly decorated and cozy with everything you could need for your stay. And the pool was refreshing and clean and just what we needed. It was a hoot to see their chickens wandering about the property. The owners were quick to respond to all messages and within the barn, they provided great info for places to eat and things to do in the area and the history of the property which was so fun to read about. It is obvious that much care and attention to detail went into making this a wonderful place for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, cozy place to unwind. We definitely would go back to this Perfect Getaway!

The Barn is an amazing little gem tucked away off the back roads away from the hustle and bustle, but near enough to easily get to fun things in Dallas and Fort Worth. Sitting on the porch enjoying my coffee with donkeys and cattle braying in the distance was so relaxing.

Perfectly romantic and peaceful couples getaway
Perfect romantic getaway for a couple. Such a great property, very friendly hosts, great decorations in the unit and everything is there you might need. Remote but not far from the city. The hosts were on site but never bothered us. They did bring us to watch them feed one of the calves, so cool! Great value, everything here is meticulously maintained. Already trying to plan our next getaway here.

The moment we arrived we knew this was going to be special. The owners greeted us when we arrived to make sure we were ok. It was an amazing relaxing weekend. The barn had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the chicken visits every morning and watching the cows graze. I would recommend this place to everyone who.wants to.have a relaxing weekend.

Quiet, restful getaway
I can’t adequately tell you how much we enjoyed this quiet beautiful place. My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. this was the perfect place for us. we were amazed after learning the history of the dairy barn, and how it was transformed into this absolutely beautiful and accommodating guest house, just made it that much more special. The history of the barn and the family farm was so interesting to read about, and we loved the beautiful homey decor. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed. God gave us beautiful, sunny weather during our stay, (late September) so that we could enjoy the clean refreshing pool. This was such a refreshing place to stay. Our hosts, Jamee and Mark we’re very hospitable, and took good care of us. Even when I forgot a few items after our departure ha. Thank you Jamie and Mark. All of the hard work and creativity that went into designing this place truly shows.

AMAZING!
This adorable barn and surrounding farm provide the perfect setting for a quiet and restful stay that is sure to bring serenity and peace. Great Little Get Away
we booked this property for our wedding weekend. We have a honeymooned planned for a different time but still wanted a place to go relax and have some privacy after the wedding. This was perfect. It was small, cute and quaint. It was definitely a place to relax and enjoy some quality time together. We were busy and didn't spend as much time there as we would have liked but it was still worth it. We would definitely go back when we have more time and can enjoy some of the outdoor amenities. This is a must for a couple looking to get away and relax and enjoy the country. The views were amazing Thank you for the great memory..

This is our second stay on the property and won’t be the last. I have a sense of peace when I’m there. It is quiet and calm. The owners are very friendly and available when you need them but other than seeing them occasionally and the visits from the friendly neighborhood chickens we felt very removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life which is exactly what I was looking for. I love the house. They have been very true to the barn that it was in the past while ensuring modern conveniences and comfort. Having a pool and patio to myself was definitely a bonus. The stars don’t often align where I am off work and out of school at the same time but when they do this is where I want to be.
