Please note before booking
A lovely welcome pack greets you. Thank you. Bedrooms clean as well as shower room. However on the minus side it was not mentioned that the WC is incredible small and they the door opens out to the stairs. At night you could get it wrong and fall down the stairs. We left a light on to help us seeing the edge of the stairs. The road seems to be uses as a rat race and vehicles are driving very fast down the strip at any time during the day or night. The overhead cooker hub is noticeably dirty and has not been cleaned for a while. The tap when running water , squirts it out sideways which doesn’t help when trying to start washing up. For these reasons we would not stay here again.

Crumbs in baking pans, lip marks on a glass, blood spot on duvet cover, sticky stain in cutlery drawer. Disappointed as we had to vacate at 9.00am for thorough cleaning to take place!

A lovely few days away.
It’s our first time in Norfolk,and Wells is a grate place to stay.Bay Cottage is so cosy and cute, close to everything.Superb welcome pack,very handy,much appreciated. Comfy bed and pillows.Lovely to have the fire set up ready to relax in front of.Nice meal at the Golden Fleece and Wells Crab House.
