The cottage has two terraces where you can soak up the sun and admire the scenery. The main terrace has access from the sitting room through double patio doors and faces the sea. A path leads down from here to the cliff edge. The other terrace faces out over the bay and has access by double patio doors from the sitting room and from the bedroom.
It is designed to be ideal for a couple - a third person can be accommodated in the living room.

A beautiful sitting room with a fireplace has patio doors opening onto both terraces. The atmosphere is mellow and harmonious with a strong ‘natural’ feeling generated by the combination of the stone walls, wooden floors and furnishings and the timber ceiling. There is also a TFT 32’’ TV and CD-DVD system. Wifi is provided for free.
The kitchen is set in an alcove on the side of the sitting room and blends easily with the décor. It has all modern kitchen conveniences, including a dishwasher, full cooker/oven, fridge, kettle, cafetierre etc.
The bathroom features a bath with shower, wooden surrounds and furnishings and a mixture of plastered walls and exposed stone. A washing machine provided.
The bedroom, like the sitting room, is a mellow combination of wooden floor and ceilings with both stone and plaster walls. A double patio door leads to the terrace.

Stoupa has two beautiful sandy beaches, Stoupa Bay and Kalogria. Sheltered by the dramatic backdrop of the Taygetos mountain range, Stoupa enjoys a microclimate that is among the warmest in Europe. Fresh water flowing underground is released offshore and keeps the water cool and clean for bathers. There are several excellent tavernas in Stoupa serving traditional Greek fare based on our wonderful local produce, as well as coffee bars, gift shops, supermarkets, cash dispensers and a chemist. There are two doctor’s surgeries in Stoupa, and a 24 hour clinic in Agios Nikolaos (4 kms away) plus a local dentist. All amenities are all within easy walking distance.
Car Hire, Bicycle Rental and excursions by coach are all available from local agents in Stoupa. There is a PADI approved dive school based on Kalogria and yoga and mosaic courses are available locally. Visitors can join local residents on organised walks, or simply explore the wonderful landscape at your own pace.
Stoupa is ideally placed for exploring many places of classical and historic interest such as Ancient Olympia, Byzantine Mystras, Monemvasia, Mount Ithomi and of course the spectacular Diros caves and the wild Mani Peninsula.
With short, mild winters, the Mani is perfect for off-season walking, cycling or motoring holidays. In November and December you can enjoy the buzz of the olive harvest going on around you, while writers and artists are drawn to Stoupa all year round.
