The Honey Haven

Nestled in a quiet valley setting, you will find a welcoming little haven in a corner of our honey house. The West Fork of the Kickapoo River is just across the road, perfect for those who love to fish. Wildlife is all around, and you may see our friendly dog Boone in the yard. With beekeeping as our occupation, you will find small touches of that inside the guest house. Two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a kitchen are located upstairs, with a sitting room area on the ground level.
Guest access:
Our guesthouse is a part of our bigger honey facility. The Honey Haven is separated from it with its own private entrance and space. There is a creek on the property, so please remember to watch your small children.

Respite in the Valley
As two couples, we enjoyed our getaway weekend at The Honey Haven. We appreciated the new and nicely designed space, having a bathroom with each bedroom, ceiling fans in the rooms, a large eating area, a family room for relaxing, and a huge yard with a lane to traverse. Next time, we'll ask to see the honey-making process!

Bucolic Setting
Through the enchanting rolling hills, you’re fine, Honey Haven. In the heart of the Driftless … fishing was terrific! The setting is tranquil and you are greeted by the most friendly and adorable pup. Inside the home is meticulously clean and tastefully furnished. Comfy beds with soft to the touch white linens. Plenty of hot water and large white towels… only 5 star hotels offer. The kitchen is well appointed and is stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet dinner after purchasing bountiful produce from local farmer owned markets. Be sure to stop at Sunrise Bakery and pick up fresh bread for morning toast and rich Honey Havens own family produced honey…yum! Welcoming community and overall an amazing 4th of July birthday trip … we will be back. Thank you!!!’

Quiet, Peaceful and Relaxing
The layout of the home/apartment was excellent. The stairs to the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were good when you are younger. I’m 70 and why I think I am younger it wears you out little bit when going up and down…I think I am getting old! The home was super clean, quiet and very relaxing. The front door key pad requires patience otherwise very doable and was very happy the front door porch lights were on when we arrived in the dark, it made a difference.

Had an excellent weekend get away! The Honey Haven is tucked away in an idyllic setting that is sure to recharge your soul. It is beautifully decorated, well thought out, and has a nice protective home energy. A bucolic oasis tucked into the hills offering well thought out accommodation. The four of us enjoyed staying at the VRBO while we explored the iconic Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail as well as other trails in the area, taking in the glorious fall bursting colorfully across the many hills and valleys.

Stunning new hideaway
A lovely new apartment on a honey farm (I'm sure there's a special name for such a place) in rural Wisconsin. Everything was brand new, with very high end hotel quality linens. We especially liked that each bedroom had its own private bathroom. If you come from Westby all the way on Tri-State Road you just might see the buffalo herd on the north side about halfway to the farm. An unexpected pleasure! When we have more time, we'd love to return and use this as a base to explore the area.

Relaxing / Private Getaway
The space was perfect for us while we were in town. We were looking for a relaxing place for athletes to relax and after competing. This place was perfect! The property hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and generous. This property is outside of town in a rural setting, which is what we were looking for. It's new, clean and designed well. Highly recommend!
