Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven. Television with DVD player, Full central heating and electric log effect fire. Only 2 miles from Whitby and Sandsend. Next to a small Alpaca farm. Open views over farmland. Cot, high chair and stair gates available on request. WiFi connection recently added.

This is the sixth time at grain cottage lovely place lovely friendly hosts if you want to meet the alpacas just ask and Pauline will take you to meet them. We always have a great holiday there and our dog loves it as well

This is a lovely cottage we really enjoyed our stay. Our dog loved running around the enclosed garden. The location is great for visiting Whitby, Sandsend Staithes and Runswick Bay.

Our second visit was as good as our first, great property, hosts , location and area. The house was warm dry and comfortable for 3 generations of family in this variable weather, the hospitality was much appreciated! Hope to be back again soon

Lovely quiet location.
The barn is in a quiet rural location, but within 20 minutes drive to whitby and robin hoods bay. The barn is clean, tidy, and has comfortable beds. Lots of board games, books, and DVD's to keep you entertained after a busy day on the beach or walking. Pauline and Bob the owners are friendly and helpful wirh any questions you might have about the area. They have alpaca's near to the barn and took the children and us to feed thrm carrots. There was also a pint of milk and eggs waiting for us on our arrival.

Lovely Hidden Gem
Just spent 2 nights af the cottage, with our 2 dogs. Our friends joined us for the second night. It was perfect, so peacefull and comfortable. Had everything you could possibly need in a house, and was made even better by being super dog friendly. Lovely walks on your doorstep, and only a short walk to the beach. Will definitely be back

Lovely Cottage in beautiful setting - will definitely stay here again. Only about 5 minute drive into Whitby and about 10 miles to the beautiful Robin Hood Bay. I brought my two dogs with me and this place was ideal. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming I could not have asked for more!

Unusual to find comfy beds in all rooms and so everyone got a good nights sleep. House was immaculately clean and very well equipped, the welcoming eggs and milk were much appreciated . Location was perfect to get to moors and sea with many good eateries only a few minutes drive

Middle property of 3 cottage barn conversion . Private parking at property. Secure enclosed garden ideal for pets or children. Very quiet rural location. 1.80 mile walk through countryside to beach at Sandsend.Cottage well equipped. Permanent hot water. Cosy sitting room with very efficient electric heater and good tv reception. Lots of CDs, books and games provided. Central heating easy to switch on if necessary. Owners live next door. Very approachable and helpful, let us feed their Alpacas who reside in field adjacent to property. Milk and eggs were provided upon arrival , also tea bags were left, very welcome as we had forgotten ours !! Super shower. Overall a delightful experience , would heartily recommend.
