The cottage is located a short walk from the white sands of White Beach and a short drive from Port Arthur Historic Site, natural geological attractions, amazing walking tracks, and secluded bays

Stunning views span the coastal scenery of Storm Bay, Bruny Island, and Mt Wellington in the distance.
Inside, open plan living is ideal for both relaxing and socialising. Head out to nearby attractions by day, then come home and cook up a meal to enjoy with a wine by the fire on crisp, cool evenings. Or better still grab a book and sit on the elevated front deck and take in the beatiful views of natural bush and sea views beyond.
Our little shack is a comfortable space celebrating a typical Tasmanian shack culture and certainly doesn't aspire to be a luxury hotel. There are many carefully collected vintage finds that are bound to strike a nostalgic twinge for many of our guests.
Whether you want a base to explore this incredible region or a peaceful escape to be immersed in nature, this single-level, three-bedroom property is the perfect home away from home.
Situated in a quiet holiday village with views of the coast, eclectic furnishings, and acomfortable, cosy living space create a calming backdrop for your coastal retreat.
The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area are both welcoming and family-friendly. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals at home, including a fridge, freezer, cooktop, convection oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and other cooking essentials like pots, pans, and utensils. Eat around the timber dining table, then kick back in the living room on one of the comfy lounges or armchairs to watch TV or read from a selection of books available or just sit and chill.
Three cosy bedrooms accommodate 5 guests. The master offers a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bed, and, the third bedroom has a double bunk with a single bed on top.
An updated bathroom features a shower as well as all the basics including soap, shampoo and conditioner, and hairdryer.

Outside a parking area accommodates four or more cars or boats and jet skis.
There is a large outside deck at the front of the property that takes advantage of the sea views and features an outdoor dining table, two outdoor couches, and a gas BBQ with a separate gas hot plate.
There are two staircases off the front deck but reasonably flat access is provided at the rear of the property which will be your first entry point.
We have gone to some lengths to include a wide selection of DVDs, games, and books to keep you occupied in the house.
We strongly recommend a daily walk on the beach and that you explore the many attractions located on the Tasman Peninsula.
You will have Boho all to yourself, sit on the front deck, listen to the birds and rolling ocean, and be free.
There is no access to the garage.
Just prior to your stay you will be sent a unique code to access the property. The access code will promptly expire at the conclusion of your stay ensure the safety and privacy of all our amazing guests. The key pad for the access code is located at the entrance door under the patio at the rear of the cottage.
We are available by phone from 8am to 8pm if you have any questions during your stay.
We would love if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests.

As I am not in area I am unable to personally check the house before your arrival - I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore me have been let down in any way by the presentation of Boho Cottage.
The Tasman Peninsula has an abundance of things to do and see.
White Beach itself is perfect for all beach activities, including boating, fishing, swimming, beach combing, relaxing, snorkeling, kayaking etc.

Hours: Introductory Tours operate at scheduled times every day between 9am and 4pm.
The Point Puer Boy’s Prison Tour departs daily from the jetty. This tour does not operate from mid-July until mid-September.
Isle of the Dead Cemetery Tours depart from the jetty at scheduled times during the day.
Historic Ghost Tours depart several times each evening after sunset.

There is no public transport on the Tasman Peninsula so you will need to have a your own transport if you stay at the Boho Beach House and to explore the area.
There are two staircases off the front deck but reasonably flat access is provided at the rear of the property which will be your first entrance point.
If you are not with Telstra you may not get full moblie service during your stay.
We do have Telstra wifi which we have found is extremely reliable but please let us know if you have any issues.
It is advisable to buy groceries and petrol from Sorell as you come through. Whilst you will be able to purchase these items in the area they do not have extended trading hours.
Please note, we don't have:
- a dishwasher
- a cot or highchair for babies (you are more than welcome to bring your own)
Provided:
- a Smart TV (with access to Netflix using your own subscription) and DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs
- a BBQ and BBQ utensils (please clean after use)
- a washing machine
- clean linen on beds and 1x towel per guest
- firewood and firelighters (further kindling can be gathered from around the house or there is a blockbuster and axe if you need to cut your own)
- a hairdryer
- an amazing outlook, and walking distance to a super awesome white sandy beach
- tea and coffee and a small amount of milk, oil, salt, and pepper
- toilet paper (2 rolls), washing-up liquid and cloths, hand soap, bin bags, bug spray
- beach towels (please don't take bathroom towels to the beach)
- a small selection of books (feel free to exchange), cards, chess board, crib board, finska, giant Jenga

Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, and anything else you may need to know.
Please note the only source of heating is a wood heater. We will provide full instructions in the guest guide and materials needed to light it.

Please treat my neighbours with respect by keeping noise to a minimum and within acceptable levels.
Kindly observe the 10 am check-out time so our cleaners have enough time to thoroughly and safely prepare the space for the next guest in line with Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning standards.
Please leave the home neat & tidy. We may need to charge guests for additional housekeeping time if our team is required to stay longer.
If smoking occurs on the property, we will have to charge guests to have the furnishings and carpet deodorised.
Please try not to misplace keys or fobs; any replacement fees will need to be passed onto our guests.
