Discover the charm of our cozy cabin, adorned with feather duvets for warmth and featuring a queen loft bed. While staying in this unit, you'll have access to a composting toilet, outdoor hot water on-demand shower, and a wood-fired tub that takes approximately 3-4 hours to heat up. Long-term stays are welcome; however, we regret to inform you that dogs cannot be accommodated in this particular unit. Please consider checking out our other suites if you plan on bringing a dog along.

Please note that the loft area is accessible via steep stairs, and there is limited electricity available, restricting the use of multiple appliances simultaneously. For your convenience, there is a rustic outdoor kitchen equipped with coffee, tea, and an ice chest.

If you're seeking an authentic outdoor experience in the heart of the Yukon while still being close to the city, our property is the perfect choice. It's just a 5-minute drive, 20-minute bike ride, or 10-minute canoe trip to reach the city center. Our backyard borders a forest, where bears, deer, foxes, and even wolves can occasionally be spotted strolling along the road.

Rest assured, your queen bed offers comfort and warmth throughout your stay. In addition to your cabin, Enjoy full access to our property amenities, including free parking, a fire-pit, trampoline, picnic table, and even bee hives and chickens onsite. Please be aware that there are also two other rentals on this property.

We are passionate about hosting guests because it fulfills our dream of cooking, eating, and sharing stories with people from all corners of the globe. This offers you a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow travelers around the world.

Upon arriving down a dirt road, you'll feel as though you've ventured into the wilderness. However, a glance across the river reveals the bustling Farmers Market, the sounds of concerts, and the lively atmosphere of festivals. From our property, you can also witness exciting canoe races from the river bank. Additionally, access to mountain biking trails is conveniently available right from our back door.

Take a leisurely walk to the finest swimming lake in Whitehorse, or embark on an ice fishing adventure during the winter months. The nearest bus stop is only 1.5 km away

Laid back and comfortable
It was a lovely property with a great view of the city. It was quiet and calm as well. I'd probably have a harder time taking a shower in the winter up here as the shower is uninsulated, but it worked well for our summer/autumn visit. A wood fire hot tub was a lovely touch, and we got to see some wildlife nearby too. Amber provided lots of information prior to our stay and was welcoming during our stay.
