Pretty bad
Carpet that formed base board was falling over. Bath tub was filthy. Skipped showering the first morning. The next morning I had to shower so I laid a towel on bathtub floor before climbing in. Caulking in corners was black and falling apart. Floor under sink was filthy. Room coffee maker was missing tray to put coffee pod in and free breakfast was at best Fair to Poor. Only good thing was hotel was walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. I got what I paid for.

PROS: Staff was excellent! Location is close to everything. The room & lobby ate clean given what the staff has to work with. CONS: This property is in serious need of reimbursement. The bsck downstairs outer entry door was broken off and propped up against the outer wall. Safety was concerning because anyone could just walk into the hotel. There were entire areas in the hallways where the wallpaper had fallen (3rd floor) and was just pinned back up at the top. The ceiling in my room was wavy. There was a 3 inch gap at the bottom of the door so you heard every conversation in the halls. The outside window had a gap in it, so a steady stream of cold air came in. The black out curtain wasn't wide enough to cover the window, so a gap of light shown from one side. I might would stay again, but not for the price I paid. It is extremely overpriced for the condition of this property. NOT the staffs fault, this is from the owners not caring. They have such great staff, the owners should give them a hotel to be proud of.

Mr Jim at the front desk was so very nice, excellent service and very helpful as it was out first time there, would definitely recommend this best western and Expedia ( also my first time using Expedia). Five stars all the way.

Bare Minimum
The only thing about the hotel that was positive was the proximity to Busch Gardens. Bathroom sink and shower tub were clogged and there are multiple doors to the exterior of the building that do not shut or lock.

Our room was really dirty and our sink was clogged. Maintenance did come and unclog it. We were in a room next to a maintenance room and the sound of loud machinery kept us awake at night. There was also a hot/burning smell that didn’t go away, I’m assuming from the machinery in the maintenance room. Probably won’t stay here again.

Do not stay here. One of the most run down and dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Mold on walls and curtains. Mattresses look 20 yrs old.

Mostly good but disappointed that our room wasn’t straightened up daily especially when we had the “make up room sign” out all day and complained when we came in Friday night. Didn’t have to change sheets but could have straightened beds and brought more towels. FYI. Found roach on floor of room 312.

For the price, facilities (pool breakfast) and location adjacent to Colonial Williamsburg, I was very pleased. Not as nice as newer, more expensive resorts. But, for our needs and the reasonable price, very pleased.

Overpriced!
It was a last minute book!! For the price I paid, it was not worth it. The tub was extremely dirty, the toilet had a ring of dirt where the water sits, the room had a strong smell of mildew. When the AC was on it smelled like the filter has never been cleaned. Overal a bad experience, again, not worth the price AT ALL!!!
