Inconsistent pet fee different from their policy
I stayed at this Quinta location on Saturday March 30th. I brought the same pet as I previously did, which is a small Pomeranian. This time they charged me $45 for the pet fee. Their policy states that $25 per pet per day. And I'd stayed at this same hotel many times before and the pet fee was always $25. I asked about the pending charge $45 while I stayed on March 30th to two different front desk staff. Both girls told me that the additional $20 was for the incidental charge in case it happens, and it will be refunded to me later. They never charged upfront for incidental fee for my previous stays. Why this time? Their explanation about the upfront charge was for the incidental fee didn't really make any sense to me while they already had my credit card on file. Regardless I have not received any refund as of today. The charge already went through my credit card for $45. I emailed and called the hotel and no one responded to my email or my calls.
