A well kept and upgraded historic motel, the staff asked a couple questions and immediately knew why we were there and made sure we had an appropriate room and parking. Accommodations were even made for our needing an earlier breakfast. A great value for the money, we plan to stay here again. It's proximity to Colonial Williamsburg is a huge bonus.

Room nicely furnished and roomy. Location very quiet. Comfortable beds and reading chair. Adequate lighting. Unable to adjust temperature in room. “Free Breakfast” a disappointment of mini donuts and cereal, the the paid for breakfast we enjoyed at the adjacent Pancake House was great, portions large, service friendly and fast

Older hotel with just the basics. It was clean and walking distance to the colonial area. Staff was friendly on check in. The complaints about the breakfast are valid, just cereal, small muffins and bananas. Overall was fine for what we needed, a clean room right next to the colonial area for a couple of nights.

For the price the room was good. It was clean and location was great. Only complaint was the people who seemed to either be employees or long term tenant arguing and fighting for over an hour at 1030 at night in the room beside us. Witnessed same people fighting out in front of room earlier in the trip.

Great old moter lodge the rooms were clean and spacious staff were very freindly and helpfull. You can walk right in to Colonial Williamsburgans the restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again.

Got to our room after checking in and was immediately assaulted by the most intense smoker smell I’ve ever had the misfortune of being present too. Walked around and found ashes on the bathroom window sill and was greeted by the friendly neighborhood cockroach-man. Needless to say we did not stay the night.

This hotel was rated a 7.6! That is not even close to reality. The room reserved was a KING bed with a sleeper sofa, got 2 double beds. They didn’t even have our Expedia reservation in their system. It just wasn’t what was advertised.

The property was quiet and safe even though I believe the locals stay there. The room itself is dated 70s with wallpaper and drop ceilings. The bathroom probably 80s. You can feel the coil in the mattress. The microwave didn't work. And there was no hot water for shower on Sunday. Many of the best breakfast are close by, along with the lower end of historic Williamsburg in walking distance. We were out for a long weekend, so we made the best out of it with little complaint except the hot water. The rating is misleading just to let you know.
