Cabin was perfect for our long weekend. Master bed mattress needs an update, but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Weekend away
The main bedroom is 10 feet from the main road BUT the road is pretty quite. The beautiful gas fire place doesn't work which was a big disappointment since that is what caught my eye and was part of the reason we picked this place. The cottage is perfect for a couples get away. The furniture color is white, so you do see a lot of stains, however it was very comfy to sit on. Overall, it was a very nice little cottage. From looking at it from the outside, you wouldn't imagine that it was so cute on the inside. It's starting to get cold so the mice have come in, there was droppings on the kitchen table, night stand and on the floor. We made sure to rewas any dinnerware before using.

Not as advertised
Too dark, furniture needs to be cleaned, inadequate kitchen supplies, inadequate lighting. Bed is VERY SAGGY. Windows in bedroom don’t open. Bathrooms are nice and were clean. Disappointing overall.

Cute place, cleaning needs attention
This is a cute place and the area has a lot to offer Would have been better without the house mouse, stained linens and same cobwebs mentioned in an earlier review. One of the bathrooms doors doesn’t work properly making it very hard to open/shut With a few small fixes it could be worth the price Would not recommend white couches for a place that allows pets and kids in a country setting That being said, it’s a quaint cabin

Relaxing trip
We enjoyed Little Red very much. It was just what we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable. The white upholstery had some minor stains. There were some cobwebs at the very tippy top of the gas fireplace. Looks like a tough spot to clean! We stayed for a week and observed that it might have been nice to have a small microwave to reheat food. It might also have been nice to have an outside rubbish bin- being there a week we generated some trash. The dining room table was great. We used one end to set up some puzzles and still had space! The bed was comfortable with a plush topper that added lots of cushion. We had plenty of towels and the linens were very nice. There was a nice yard with a picnic table and a grill. Even though the lake is nearby, the access to it is not.

Cabin perfection!
I’m forever overjoyed with the way people transform small spaces and this cabin is on point! I never even knew the lake was right behind the place! How my dog and I enjoyed our daily walks along the lake road. The lake is a paddlers paradise. Most days I was the only one out there. It IS cabin living so you’ll have some occasional hard water experiences and the fyi g insects are hatching now so they like to visit. Gratefully my dog loves to eat them. Enjoy.! We loved it and will be back for certain!

The home was unacceptably dirty. There were stains on the pillowcases, hair in the bed, hair on the couch, dog hair on all of the blankets, stains all over the couch, food residue left on the table and what appeared to be melted chocolate on the couch pillows. I attempted to contact guest services every day of our visit and I was only offered a resolution after we checked out (which was only the cleaning fee refunded). I was uncomfortable during the entire stay due to the lack of cleanliness.

Hands down the BEST Vrbo stay we have ever had.
If you want peace and quiet in the Vermont woods you could not find a better place. It is obviously an old cottage (the floors squeaked delightfully) but it has been renovated and is very clean and charming. The master bed was very comfortable. The bed in the other room looked small but it worked for us to lay our suitcases out. All bathrooms and bedrooms had heaters and there was a lovely gas fireplace in the middle of the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with pans/utensils/plates/bowls/cups. No spices so bring your own. NOTE: there is no microwave (not a knock on the owners. They didn't advertise it, I just assumed it had one.) About 20-30 minutes to Mount Snow. We will stay here again whenever we are in the area.

Beautiful cabin and very comfortable
Great location (close to Wilmington), quiet and comfortable. Tons of games for all the family (young children to adult). Loved the gas fireplace. Bed and couch was comfortable. Never found the remote to the bedroom TV, and tricky to figure out the living room TV. Felt quite at home. Would happily go back again. *Just know this is an older home and the floors slope going into the bedroom, so walk carefully in socks.

Quiet and Solitude
If we had extra money we would buy a house just like this for our retirement years! It’s cozy and cute. We liked that there are two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans and many gadgets and utensils for cooking. The interior is mostly painted white wood walls with wood floors. It’s bright and cheery. So many games! The beds are comfortable. Although not the fault of the owner, I had a hard time getting into the queen size bed. It’s a bit tall for me but once I got in it was very comfortable. The a/c works well as it was a little humid while we were there. It did the trick. The lot is woodsy and so pretty. It rained lightly while we were there but no matter. The green leaves were beautiful peeking through the windows. We didn’t see a soul while we were at the house. Town is maybe five minutes away by car. We visited Shaw’s grocery store, looked for a quilting store which had closed down recently. Also went to Hogback Mountain Gift Store which is close by. Lastly we went to a small but lovely quilting shop, The Scarlett Creation in Bennington VT. I spent quite a bit of money but I’m so happy with my purchases. And you just can’t leave Vermont without real maple syrup. And don’t forget the “this and that”!

Well appointed but mildewy
This place is well decorated and comfortable. However there is a mildewy smell. Granted it’s rained a lot this summer, but they do need to deal with the mold issue. The cleaners also missed a bunch of spots- the porch is filthy, baseboards dusty. In addition, they left whole bean coffee and a coffee maker but no grinder. Lastly, not something the properties owners have control over, but the neighbors at the lake were very loud every evening.

Cute Cabin
Tucked away in the woods. Small cabin with old-timey vibe. Essentials taken care of. Suitable for two adults with or without one child. Comfy interior with the basics ready for your relaxing trip to Wilmington area. The lake was close but accessing it was about a mile or so walk to a small beach. Screened porch was our favorite spot although dusty and shared with spiders. Lots of toys for small children, no lawn furniture except a picnic table. Fire pit was fun. No loft access to other bed as pictured. Minimally equipped kitchen.
