Excellent Lakehouse
Property was as advertised. We rented a pontoon boat and used the property’s boat dock for easy access to and from the lake. The backyard is wonderful with no stairs to the lake. it was perfect.

Rest & Relax on the Waterfront
We enjoyed our time in this beautiful, well-appointed home on the lakefront. Unfortunately we had terrible weather for our stay (rain, rain, rain) and the fish weren’t biting at all. Loved the new appliances, remodeled bathrooms and new towels and linens. Easy access from Nashville area. Overall a restful and relaxing stay!

Great House & Location!
We (middle aged adults + 2 pups) needed a vacation from our vacation. It was a short drive from Nashville and a great location for us to get away from the city. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well spending time on the square (short 3-5 min drive). We would love to come back in the summer to get out on the water since the property has direct access. Highly recommend!

Our family gets together once a year and this location was perfect for all my Tennessee family. My grandchildren loved swimming. The yard is huge and had plenty of room to play games. The young adults enjoyed the hot tub.

Great house with an A+ backyard
Our group of 4 adults and 3 dogs had a wonderful time at this property. The house was super clean, adorably decorated and very well appointed. The bathrooms are especially nice. We used the kitchen quite a bit and also used the very nice grill one night. The kitchen has everything that you need to make a great meal. The coffee maker is a Keurig, and the hosts had some K cups there to get us started. We rented a boat at Twin Creeks Marina which is about a 10 minute drive by car and also by boat. It is so nice to have the lake deck to load/unload and stop easily back at the house if needed. There were geese on the lake and in the backyard every morning, in addition to many types of birds. So much nature to see and enjoy. The house is also is very close to the town of Winchester. Would highly recommend Walnut Hill coffee company for coffee and treats. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Relaxing vacation Sept. 19-24
Very nice renovation. The property and house were as pictured. It is actually in town, which I didn’t realize when I booked, but you would never know it from the back of the house, and it is not noisy. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Morning coffee on the deck with that view was so relaxing. Just a couple of minor recommendations, it would have been handy to have a dish cloth and hot pads. Other than that, the kitchen is pretty well appointed. We did have a problem with the front door key pad when we checked out. I left a message for Whitney concerning.

The property has been completely and newly renovated. All new appliances in kitchen. Lovely bathrooms. Tasteful appointments in shades of blue, white, and gray. And the view of the water is just as pictured. And it’s quiet. Big thanks to the owners for all their hard work on this house.

Beautiful place in a great location
Absolutely loved this property! The house was super cute and exactly as described. The master bathroom was so beautiful and quite big. The backyard was the biggest selling point for me with easy access to swim. We tied up a lily pad and stayed out there all day. My only suggestion, and it’s a minor one, would be to add a curtain to the sliding back door to keep extra heat out. I will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later!

Everything on the VRBO app was accurate and told us all we needed for our stay. This home is older but completely remodeled and designed beautifully. The inside was well designed and good for small families, girls trips, etc. It was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!!

Perfect lake getaway!
We enjoyed our stay at John & Whitney’s cute house. The master bed and bathroom are particularly luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we kept our pontoon boat tied up to the posts on the water. The neighborhood is very quiet and the sectional sofa was comfy for movie watching. We’ll be back! ❤️

Very clean and just like the pictures.
The house was really nice, little small for a group of 4 adults and 3 children. The slider did get broken before we arrived so we weren’t able to use the back door because there was still some glass on the doors and deck. We were able to use the side door to get to the back though.

The house is so cute and very clean! The beds were all super comfortable, and house contained everything needed to have a perfect place for family vacation! The house is exactmiddle point for my family that live in Tennessee to come meet us while we are in town and the yard space gave us more than plenty of room to cookout and enjoy the water. Everything was as it was supposed to be and the owners answered right away when I had a question. We were able to walk right into the water and put kayaks right in at the house also. We rented a boat and were able to tie it up on-site. Everything was new and clean. It felt like we were at home. We plan on making this our yearly trip now!

Great little place on the water
This was a great place to stay for our family. We have 4 boys and the bunk room was a hit. We loved the backyard with a fire pit and had fun making s’mores the first night. A very quiet place to stay. It was renovated so wonderfully. We will be back.
