Great place to stay
Great place to stay cannot fault anything and would highly recommend.Round the corner from Windermere shops etc and not far to walk into Bowness. Fabulous host very helpful and friendly,fantastic breakfast lovely room with very comfy beds and gorgeous toiletries. Had a lovely stay would like to have stayed longer but will definitely return.

Lovely guest house
We had a very good break at 1 Park Road. All bedrooms are on the first or second floor. Our room - room 6, with a lovely view - was very comfortable and very clean and tidy. Hilton is the perfect host - attentive without being overbearing. He has very good knowledge of the area, and what he doesn’t know he will find out! Breakfast was excellent with a good range of cereals and fruit along with toast, with homemade jams and marmalade, and good quality cooked options made to order. There is a nice resident’s lounge - a good option for wet weather - and the communal fridge on the top floor is a useful extra. Thank you for a lovely stay, Hilton. We hope to stay with you again, sometime.

A great place to stay in Windermere!
Perfect stay at this lovely B&B. Very comfortable room with a great bed, beautiful linens and all the right touches. Super-delicious breakfast, including dietary accommodations. Best of all, the host is very responsive and has loads of recommendations for all things Windermere and surrounding areas.

Amazing, friendly and personal. Well done Hilton.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special, welcomed by the lovely owner Hilton who made us feel so relaxed. We were recommended a few restaurants which we tried both nights as well as the bars. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order on top of the usual cold buffet style ootions. Hilton spoke to us about our days out as well as servicing our rooms daily....nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Windermere.

What can i say.?.. This place is fabulous. Hillton the host is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.The rooms are very clean and bed is super comfy. Breakfast was amazing! Great selection of cereals and the cooked breakfast was just delicious. Would definitely reccomend.

Great value for money
The location was great, Windermere is a five minute walk away and has plenty of nice pubs and restaurants (we especially liked "The Pig"). Bowness and the lake are also within walking distance. There were only two parking spaces but we managed to use one. They are very small though so not suitable for larger vehicles. There is free on road parking too. Hilton was a very accomodating host and has a great knowledge of the area. He was friendly but happy to let you have your own space too. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the curtains were blackout. The only negative I could suggest is that the shower is quite small. This wasn't a problem but is something to be aware of as it might be a problem for others. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. It was high quality and big portions.

We had an excellent 2 night stay at 1 Park Rd. Hilton is such a nice person and makes a real difference to your stay. The rooms are very spacious, quality products and furniture, and real luxurious feel. Everything you would need including ground coffee, fresh milk and very comfy beds! Breakfast is excellent. Fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast - and quality ingredients. I would absolutely recommend this as your next stay in Windermere. It’s top of our list for the time time we visit. Plus we were lucky enough to receive some fruit salad jam which is amazing!

Comfortable Guesthouse.
Lovely, comfortable Guesthouse with 6 Bedrooms over 2 floors. Rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean, with lots of little extras such as toiletries, body lotion, tissues and air freshener, as well as a lovely selection of coffee,tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. There is also fresh milk available from a fridge on the landing. Breakfast is a real treat, and included, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon or a full English breakfast. You help yourself to a great variety of cereals, yoghurts, toast , tea and filter coffee. Parking is limited on the premises, but plenty of free parking on the street.
