Please note that Meadows End has storage heaters which produce heat ‘in arrears’, i.e. they need to be switched on 24 hours prior to the heat being required. Cute cottage stay however a bit dated. We arrived at night, in the dark, and it was very challenging to get the keys. Once in the it was freezing as the heaters werent on and there were no towels. Imagine our surprise when our 8 year old ran up to take a warm bath in this cold and then nothing to dry off with. The water hearee boost struggled the frist day.
