Imagine unwinding in the perfect house with multiple entertainment areas, designed for easy-care living and effortless enjoyment. The indoor/outdoor flow leads you to a private courtyard equipped with a freestanding BBQ and an outdoor fire, ideal for cosy evenings under the stars. Here, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your alpine haven and enjoy memorable gatherings with family and friends.

Our chalet features four spacious bedrooms, each with its own unique vista and built-in wardrobes. You'll find a king bed, queen bed and two double beds, providing ample space and comfort for all guests. The master suite is a sanctuary of its own, boasting a luxurious ensuite bathroom complete with a spa bathtub and shower, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. The family bathroom downstairs includes a tiled shower, vanity, and toilet, ensuring convenience for all guests. All linen and towels are included for your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped to ensure your amenity needs are met for the duration of your stay, complete with breakfast bar, gas hobs, oven, microwave and dishwasher and a pantry with basic supplies such as oil, salt and pepper. A wonderful dining area provides easy flow to the courtyard area which you will love on summer evenings or with the fire going during the colder months! Additionally there is a cosy second lounge with a log burner and Smart TV, this space is the perfect spot to grab a cuppa, a blanket and simply wind down or relax with friends.

As a guest, you'll have access to the exclusive Terrace Downs Resort amenities. Revel in the Clubhouse atmosphere, indulge in fine dining at the award winning restaurant (reservations advised), and take advantage of the myriad leisure activities and breathtaking scenery. The resort's beautiful Clubhouse features full restaurant and bar facilities, and you can enjoy a day on the world renowned golf course, hire carts, tennis courts, gym access, clay pigeon shooting, horse-riding or jet-boating which is all booked at the reception area of the resort or on the Terrace Downs website. Mt Hutt Skifield is 40km to the base of the slopes, or if you prefer, you can be there in 5 minutes by local helicopter. And if hunting is your preferred sport, there are a number of guides that operate locally.

Take a short drive to discover the many restaurants and activities this gorgeous area has to offer nearby in Methven or Darfield, and a myriad of hiking trails around Lake Coleridge, Rakaia Gorge and throughout Mid Canterbury. There is internal/external access to a mud-room, where skis, snowboards or bikes can be stored, and plenty of parking space around the chalet.

This is a rural area in the foothills of the Southern Alps. There are no shops. The nearest supermarkets are 30km away in Methven, and 43km away in Darfield. Guests are advised to bring their own groceries and supplies, and/or to book dinner at the Clubhouse at point of booking the chalet.
