Overall, despite it being an older property, I felt the Comfort Inn South was clean and comfortable. It is in convenient location on the south end of Winnipeg. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient, including when I called to ask about how to turn the heat on. The check in process was easy. I did not take advantage of breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The only drawbacks were 1) the heating seemed to be either on or off. It did not have an automatic setting (at least that I could figure out) that turned off when a certain temperature was met and 2) my room was next to the stairs on the end of the building, which were accessed through a door. Every time someone used those stairs, the door would open and shut loudly, which I could hear in my room during the night. If I were to stay there again, I would request a room away from the stairs.

My room was very nice. Everything was new in it. I had a fridge and microwave. It was very quiet. The only thing I could say is in the breakfast there was no hot chocolate

The room rented was pleasant looking and clean, along with the bathroom. The TVs were a decent size compared to other hotels. The staff were very professional and helpful, too. The breakfast was good enough, it was included in the price of the room so it’ll do. Hopefully they can upgrade their breakfast and its dining area in the future.

Comfortable and affordable
The stay was very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. I was worried about driving north from the parking lot as it was turning left on a very busy 6 lane street (Pembina) but if you go south on it, you can easily turn around by looping up to highway 100 and looping back down.

Decent basic accommodation
Convenient to highway; not close to downtown. Breakfast area is cramped, crowded, not so comfortable. No bagels or bacon options at breakfast. Nice big tv in the room. And convenient nightlight in the bathroom.

It was okay. It's definitely dated and there is only stair access to upstairs rooms. Having breakfast available was convenient, but nothing special. Beds were comfortable and it looks like the bathrooms were remodeled fairly recently.
