This property is terrible. The property is dirty. It is the worst hotel I have ever booked The hotel has a strong permanent odour and the bed has traces of bugs. The corridors and the room are unkept and the facilities are very old I have to check out immediately and book another hotel. Please avoid this property if you are visiting Winnipeg.

Terrible hotel, Not recommended for anyone
Very very dirty hotel, terrible, they charged a security deposit $200. But they even no mention anything in hotel.com. A lot of drug addicts and drunker around the parking lot, I checked-in at 3:00pm, and checked out at 5:00pm at the same day.

Absolute dumpster fire of a place. Looks like a literal crack den. Staircase reeked of piss and god knows what else. Busted furniture, dirty floors etc. Would've been better to find a bridge to sleep under

The place has very noisy guest whom you can easily hear but it was just a little annoying compared to the other problems this pace has. This was one of the most unclean hotels I've ever been to. The only staff was the receptionist, who was polite but couldn't do much. The receptionist told me to choose between 2 rooms on the 2nd floor, when i entered the first room it smelled like tobacco and alcohol but what was worse was that the bathroom was filled with ants crawling all over the floor and bathtub (and i mean literally all over). I immediately left that room and prayed the second room would be better. When i entered the 2nd room, the first thing i checked was the bathroom. Luckily, there was no ants there, although there were some dried up stains here and there it wasn't too bad. The room also didn't smell like tobacco ( but i did smell a bit of alcohol). I decided to stay in that room, but then when i used the toilet just once i found out it could not flush after the first flush. I found out that it takes a while to flush and i decided to wait ( it took all night). I found this out later but the 2nd bed in the room had bed bugs. The only reason I did not immediately leave was that I already paid online and this was one of the only places in Winnipeg that didnt require a creit card for damage deposit (Don't misunderstand they still took a damage deposit of $200 but you could pay debit or cash).

Killed at least 5 cockroaches/ beetles in my room
I haven't submitted even a negative review in years, but this place was bad. Killed bugs every hour or so in my room and saw at least another 10. Hallways were filthy as well. Will never stay again.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Place is infested with cockroaches I do not recommend, unless you want to get a disease from those dirty animals, no way we could have slept there, we left the place right away, it was disgusting from the moment you step off the elevator, carpet and bedroom not to safety standards NOT SURE HOW THIS PLACE IS OPEN, the health and safety department should check what’s going on, you get mislead when you book online and see everything good over a picture plus there’s not bad reviews, so do not use this dump place.

I booked to bring a friend for a medical appointment. We were told the receipt "could not" be written in his name which is a requirement for claiming for Northern patient health travel. We have never had this problem at any other facility, we did not book in. The 'covid' window was filthy, not a good impression for what we needed.

Tried but still hated to stay in this hotel.
I checked in with an open mind. Lobby was unlike the pictures on website. Elevator was unclean, hallway carpets were dark due to dirt/spills. Smell was overwhelming. Got into room, room still smelled like hangover, tv cable system didn't work, washed my hands in hot water, there was no cold water. The shower faucet was falling off, and didn't work. When I checked out at least I got my cash deposit back.
