Just OK
We booked this place for 3 people, coming in for a 3 night stay for a dance competition. The house reaked like weed and the smell never left for the entire time, even after air fresheners and candles. The house was marginally clean...I'm not super picky but it can definitely use a deep clean, grease stains on the wall, nooks and crannys swept and mopped etc. The real problem came when the deadbolt broke while we were trying to leave the house Sunday morning. It took 3 hours to get ahold of the owner. Arranged for a locksmith to come and get us out of the house so we wouldn't be late for the dance competition, but had errands to complete that never got done. The owner texted back while the locksmith was there and proceeded to ask me "How I managed to lock myself in". Then asked me to arrange with the locksmith that we called to change the deadbolt on their behalf. All of this would not have been a problem, but never received even an apology from the owner nevermind a discount or anything for our troubles. You can tell it is just a money making venture for them as there is no customer service, the house has no personality, nothing on walls, 1 roll of toilet paper left for 3 night stay etc. It could be a good place as beds were reasonably comfortable and access getting in and out is easy. We definitely will not book this or any of the owner's properties again...there are quite a few that look similar in areas of Winnipeg so I'm assuming it is a company that owns them all.

Easy access to pan am pool. Easily enough room for 6 if needed. We arrived to one bedroom locked from the inside but quickly resolved the problem the next day.

Great family place
House was the perfect size for my family and checked off all our needs. A locked box was used to gain access to the residence and we had no issues with it. Upon arrival, we noticed the place wasn't cleaned from the previous renters. I contacted the owner who was very accommodating and got back to me quickly. There was a glitch in the vrbo system which didn’t notify the cleaners to attend. The owner was very apologetic. I recommended to the owner to have the place deep cleaned as there was quite a bit of dust on the baseboards and under the beds/furniture. All in all, the place had everything we needed and would stay here again.

Plus’s and minuses
I have some mixed emotions on this property and our stay. On the one hand the neighborhood was very nice and we felt very safe there, the home was a nice new build and was very comfortable for the duration of our stay. On the other hand there were a few letdowns. The main reason we rented this property was the posting showed by our opinion to have a garage to park our car in on arrival we found that this was not the case and only had a parking space in the alley and parking on the street. We had issues with some of the lighting including the main fixture in the master bath burned out on us and we had to use one of the lamps from the bedroom to light the room. We attempted to remedy this with the property manager but to no avail. The hot water tank seemed small as well and would only allow for one bath to be run in the evening even tho there were two tubs in the house. The place was reasonably clean with the exception of under the beds furniture and on top of the fridge. All in all I would rank our stay as a 7/10
