Wyndham Garden Inn Winnipeg Airport is a fairly new property (2022) that is owned by Long Plain First Nation and operated by Sparrow Hotels. I loved the beautiful art, ample parking, Kookum's Corner, proximity to Polo Park Mall, and friendly staff. The Manoomin restaurant's menu comes from chef Jennifer Ballantyne, has dishes are delicious, affordable and reflect her cultural heritage. It is bright, open and is complemented by the Onishkaan Café with its morning offerings. This was my first time staying at the hotel and I knew very little about it prior to arriving. I intend to make it my hotel of choice for subsequent trips to Winnipeg.

The staff were really friendly. Check-in and check-out were fast and seamless. What I didn’t like is that we did not receive maid service while we were there. When I called front desk to ask why our room was not done they said they only do the rooms every three days. I don’t mind using the same towel and sheets but would be nice to have bathroom cleaned and bed made. Seems like prices are increasing but services declining.

The hotel was great, staff were super nice and the hotel is new. But the soundproofing in the rooms was not great and we were kept up every night we stayed with noisy people in the hallways and rooms late at night.

Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in at a hotel, and I regularly travel. This hotel is new, very clean, beautiful decor and quiet. Will definitely return!

The bathroom was the best we have stayed in so far for a person in a wheelchair it was 5 stars from the wheel in shower to the counterspace and being able to get under the sink and lots of room to wheel around in the room definitely 👍 will stay there again
