The inn is very nice and conveniently located. The rooms are well appointed. I found the breakfast to be lacking. Usual offers of bagels, waffles, dry cereal. The toaster wasn’t functional, so the bread and bagel offerings were not very appetizing.

I asked for a room with no access via stairs and was told I received that but did have stairs. The room was nice very well put together with beautiful art. The toilet did not want to flush very well. The bed was clean and comfortable. The common areas are showing signs of neglect and would hate to see this beautiful property go down hill.

There was no hot water and when it came through it was brown and full of rust and minerals. Management felt bad and we changed rooms but we had the issue again. They need to replace their hot water heater.

A wonderful port in the storm.
We were on a motorcycle trip and had camped two days and it was time for some civilization before continuig on. The Inn filled our needs perfectly. This building was built in 1910 and has been updated several times but not enough to eliminate the original charm. Theres a lot of history inside those walls and we loved it,i cludi g the imperfections that make it unique. The elevator goes from the parki g garage to the second floor so if you have difficulty with stairs I would not recommend a room on the third floor, although my wife said it was very intriguing. Five miles south of Wise is Norton Va. and a little bar and grill with a Sasquatch theme called the Woodbooger Bar and Grill, hands down some of the finest food you could ask for and probably the best burgers and onion rings I have ever had. You won't be disappointed in either the Inn or Woodbooger( Woodbooger is another name for Sasquatch)

The room was clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was good, it consisted of muffins, cereal, waffles, mostly just grab and go. The hotel all around was extremely nice.

Clean rooms, easy check in process. Located close to restaurants and grocery store. Clearly this property has been operating as a hotel for some time based on the rooms and lay out, but it is not run down.
