The Nook door is always open please come and stay in our luxury Cotswold Annexe. Are you looking to enjoy a break in the Cotswolds or do you need to stay somewhere homely for work? So much is on offer in the area, please see below for all the details.

Our annex is totally self contained with it's own entrance leading into the light and airy main living area where you will find the sumptuous king size bed and small sofa where you can sit and relax, a full size fridge with freezer box and a cute breakfast bar for two. You will find a compact and bijou country kitchenette with large sink, microwave, toaster, kettle with tea and Nespresso coffee machine . The ensuite bathroom has a super modern shower that you can bluetooth your music to whilst the colour changing lights add to the ambiance, oh, it will spray you with water as well.!
The room has been fitted with white wooden shutters for your privacy which adds a little chic touch as we designed the room to bring the boutique hotel feel to Minster Lovell.

The property has its own parking right outside and is accessed via a wooden gate along a cobbled path.

Minster Lovell is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from Burford, Blenhiem Palace, Caswell House (gorgeous wedding venue) and only 20 minutes from the centre of Oxford. We are conveniently situated for visiting the famous Bibury and Bourton on the Water ( quintessential Cotswold villages) . We are only 40 minutes from Cheltenham, ideal for the races. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Daylesford are accessible easily from here. If you fancy some retail therapy Bicester designer outlet shopping village is a wonderful day out. There is a public bus stop immediately outside the house and the nearest railway station is Charlbury which is only a 15 minute drive. And of course the latest edition to our area The Farmers Dog (Jeremy Clarksons pub)- a six minute drive away ! Downton Abbey was partly filmed in beautiful Bampton which is just down the road . What a gem
Absolutely fantastic 5 day stay at this lovely property in August. The host Vikki was there to meet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. There was a bottle of wine, homemade cakes and a pint of fresh milk which we thought was a nice touch. The accommodation ticked all the boxes and the property was spotless and everything looked brand new. Perfect location for visiting all the best rated villages in the Cotswolds. Lots of fabulous walks and the scenery was just amazing. We will definitely be looking to book again soon.

Lovely stay in the cotsworlds
My partner and I had a lovely say at the Nook. The property was lovely and felt really homely. The property had everything needed and Vikki even had homemade scones there for our arrival. The property was clean and tidy and well located, as well as sign posted easily in the welcome directions. Vikki was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay and would love to visit again!

A shining cozy nook!
Absolutely all aspects were as described only better! Vikki and Simon are an absolute delight and go above and beyond w no prodding. The acxomodation is compact bit complete and again, absolutely a delight- well appointed and central to all our axtivities. We will be back!

A recommended little gem
We were recommended by a friend who had stayed recently. Every detail was covered and the accommodation was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The owner/host, Vikki communicated with us leading up to our visit. Wine and homemade cakes awaited us and Vikki texted to make sure we were okay. A Welcome Respite
We chose to come here to rest after a trans-Atlantic flight and to get over jet lag before joining friends and family for the holidays. The Nook was the perfect spot for doing that! The host's attention to detail and hospitality is A+. We highly recommend it.

No other way to describe it - than excellent. Just a beautiful studio with everything you would need. Amazingly clean and looking like new. Very warm welcome from host with lots of helpful information about the area both from host and books/leaflets. Separate front door to studio which is why we chose it.

Wow what an amazing place The Nook is. It is extremely clean and the decor is top class and had everything we needed. We had such a lovely welcome by the owners and they checked each day if we needed anything. We had a lovely bottle of wine and yummy homemade cakes to welcome us too. Its a great place for visiting Blenheim Palace and Waddesdon Manor National Trust is amazing. There are some lovely local pubs to eat. I totally recommend The Nook, you wont be disappointed.

The Nook was absolutely lovely! Spotlessly clean and so well presented. A perfect spot to visit all the beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. Wonderful Getaway
An amazing property, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. All the furnishings and appliances are good quality and very stylish. Lovely garden to sit out in too. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Vikki is very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the little extras like the wine and the cakes were much appreciated. A convenient location to access the Cotswolds for easy and beautiful walks in Minster Lovell or Burford. OS maps and guide books are provided in addition to thoughtful details in the studio that made our 4-day stay perfect. Vikki is attentive and caring, without being obtrusive. All aspects of the furnishings and appliances are top quality. Restaurants and pubs are nearby and plentiful. We loved staying here because it wasn’t in a a crowded area, and access to Heathrow by car was easy and done in less than 1.5 hours. We recommend a stay at the Nook to our friends and like-minded travelers.

A Cosy Retreat For Two
Our first stay at The Nook was so good, we had to return as soon as possible for a second visit to enjoy the beautiful tranquil surroundings and the heart-warming welcome from Vikki & Simon and their family. This time at The Nook was so special; we enjoyed a delicious, melt in the mouth local Lamb Shoulder Pie from The Old Swan Pub in Old Minster, such a quintessential picturesque little village within walking distance from The Nook. Blenheim Palace was amazing as always, we now have an annual pass, so we hope to be back again, lol! Vikki & Simon are really kind and friendly and make your time at The Nook feel so special, everything is spic and span and they always greet you with a smile :-) There is a super-duper shower in the bathroom with lots of settings for maximum pampering lol. Everything in the property is well thought-out and designed precisely. Everything you need is there, and even though there is no hob and oven, there are other ways to cook things, like a microwave and toaster. The kitchen has everything you need to be comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back again and again to the beloved Nook and Cotswolds. Many thanks to Vikki and Simon and we'll see you again soon.
