Timberline Cottage by Sarah Bernard, Beautiful Private Dock and Treehouse!

Welcome to our Timberline Cottage at Innsbrook Resort! Located in a wooded setting with a path down to a lakeside dock, this chalet is private yet easily accessible from the road with plenty of parking just outside the front door. And, it's just around the bend from our Lakeside Getaway and Shoreline Escape chalets in case you need extra room (a short walk or even a quick kayak scoot across the lake).

The lakeside dock is a great little escape, nestled privately in a cove on 4-acre Lake Sonnenblick. It's a great spot for fishing, reading, sunning and enjoying kayak rides around the lake. Kayaks are included and pets are welcome(for an additional $55 per night) at our Timberline Cottage! You'll love this fresh, newer chalet with three bedrooms and two full baths.

The living room features a stone fireplace for cool fall and winter evenings and an outside fire pit area for gathering 'round day or night.
On the main level, you'll also find a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook for a crowd. Main level master bedroom suite with king bed.
A glass-enclosed porch.
A large deck with comfy furniture where you can grill and watch a plenitude of wildlife.
Upstairs, an open loft for hanging out along with two additional bedrooms , a sleeper sofa, and a full bath provides space for the kids or extra guests.
One bedroom includes a queen bed and the other has a set of bunk beds.
Both bedrooms are completely private with easy access to the bath and views of the wooded lot.

A visit to the Timberline Cottage is perfect for families, girls' getaways, golf escapes, or wedding groups. Open year-round, the chalet is fully stocked and includes an outside propane grill plus everything you need for your weekend, including that all-important coffee to start your day.

Please note that we charge a one time property damage protection fee. This is actually a damage protection policy that protects you for up to $500 worth of coverage for any damages incurred because we know that accidents can happen.

Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. We do have early check-in options, but cannot guarantee early check-in until the day before your stay. In order to respect the neighbors, our property owners, and Innsbrook Resort's rental policies, we do not allow large events or gatherings at our chalets (typically 10-15 people). Enjoyed the canoe and had very good fishing off the dock! Really enjoyed the full staircase to 2nd floor and well-stocked kitchen supplies. Large outdoor dining table and gas grill were handy. Very nice, functional gathering areas inside with upstairs chaise lounge, chairs by indoor fireplace, and family room area next to primary bedroom. Treehouse out front was a nice add and fire pit area had plenty of adirondacks. For the value, this was a great spot for a family of 4, plus 2 grandparents.

Relaxing stay in the woods
Very peaceful property with a large deck overlooking the woods and a small inlet to the lake. a deck on the lakeside was awesome for relaxing, fishing and putting in the canoe. During our weekend, only a few other people around, very quiet outside the entire stay. It was cool a couple nights , so we used both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The house was clean and matched the pictures/description online. Would stay again.

Private pond where our kids caught many fish and LOVED the canoe ride. It was rainy a lot of the time and even lost power for 4 hours, yet we remember the memories we made and canā€™t say one bad thing about the trip!

Great getaway spot
We really enjoyed our time in Innsbrook! The house is adorable, and the location was great. Kids loved the kayaking and the treehouse. We played some tennis and stopped at the coffee shop in the resort, and the people working there couldn't have been nicer to us. We'd definitely come back again. The house had everything we needed.

I recommend checking the disposal making sure itā€™s working/not leaking & carpet tacked down complete
We had a great time and loved the stay. Also, may a handbook about the wildlife (and vegetation) in the area. There where some water snakes that freaked us out as the swam toward us pretty eagerly. But just in general some interesting tidbits, warnings and what to do ifā€¦.. that would be great for animal lovers like us.

Fun stay
Two suggestions; there was no dishwasher soap provided, so bring your own. The water line to the kitchen sink was very small so the pressure was weak. Everything else was great. We enjoyed the games and puzzles in the game cabinet. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hot water for showers. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Pool and beach at the resort were fun. The ā€œlakeā€ behind our house was not great for swimming, but canoes were provided.

My husband and I met our daughter, her husband and 3 young children at Innsbrook for 3 nights. The 2 and 3 yr olds enjoyed the treehouse, firepit, and wondering around the property, as well as taking some walks in the neighborhood. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and to cook delicious meals there. We enjoyed dinner one night at the clubhouse, which was nice to have an option close by. As another reviewer mentioned, it would be nice to have a tarp over the wood pile as the damp wood made it a bit harder to start fires. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great Holiday Retreat
This was the perfect house for our family and in laws to stay for a quick getaway before the holidays. The house gave us that small cozy feel but also big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and spent time on the deck by the water. The grill worked perfectly and I was surprised at the quality. The Christmas decorations were low key but tasteful. The playhouse was perfect for the kids and allowed them to play outside. We enjoyed many other benefits of the Innsbrook resort... golf hiking and the historic cabin. We canā€™t wait to book this house more in the future.

Wonderful Cabin
The cabin itself was fantastic. It was clean, spacious, and exactly what my family needed. Wish Mother Nature would've cooperated better and not rained everyday, but we still enjoyed our time there. My only knock would be that the firewood wasn't covered. It was completely soaked through and wouldn't light. Then of course, the delivery truck showed up with all new dry firework as we were checking out.
