The Space:
El Caballo Tiny Escape by Tiny Away, situated in Wundowie and just an hour’s drive from Perth, offers an escape nestled against bushland. Surrounded by timber fencing, this tiny house keeps the local horses at bay while welcoming sheep and friendly dogs. Nearby attractions include Lake Leschenaultia, Noble Falls, Avon Valley, Bells Rapids, and John Forrest National Park.

A comfortable accommodation of approx. 139-square-foot is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.

The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests access only from the property entrance, to the tiny house and immediate surrounds. All sheds are restricted areas.

Amidst the rugged scenery of the Avon Valley, this community thrives with a spirited, close-knit vibe. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, visitors can enjoy fishing, kayaking, and peaceful riverside walks along the picturesque Avon River. Ideal for those valuing community and a countryside living experience close to urban convenience.

Our local recommendations:

- Lake Leschenaultia offers water and land activities for families. Rent canoes or paddle boards, walk the lakeside trail, spot native wildlife, or tackle bush cycling trails. It's a serene spot to explore Perth Hills.
- Visit Noble Falls to explore nature trails and enjoy waterfalls surrounded by tranquil jarrah, marri and blackbutt bushland. In spring, witness unique wildflowers or enjoy a family picnic. Near to Gidgegannup, it's a short drive from Perth.
- Avon Valley is a national park with bushwalking, white-water rafting, canoeing, and picnicking activities. Relax and recharge by the famous Avon River, known for the annual Avon Descent rafting event.
- Bells Rapids, in Brigadoon, provides prime views of the Avon Descent race. Explore nature walks by the river, spotting grey kangaroos, and scenic views along the circuit trail.
- John Forrest National Park is Australia's earliest conservation area. It offers bushwalking, cycling, and scenic drives. Encounter native wildlife and vibrant wildflowers in spring, with picnic spots and a tavern available.

- The village of Mundaring is 33 kilometers away, about a 25-minute drive.
- The town of Wundowie is only 9 kilometers away, taking roughly 9 minutes by car.
- Bakers Hill is 14 kilometers away, reachable in around 11 minutes.
- Northam is 37 kilometers away, approximately a 27-minute drive.
- York is 39 kilometers away, taking about 41 minutes by car.
-Toodyay is 43 kilometers away, a 33-minute drive.
- Gidgegannup is 21 kilometers away, and accessible in around 20 minutes.

- Wifi is not available
- No Outdoor firepit
- Gas BBQ Grill is not available
- No smoking or outdoor cooking is permitted on the property for safety reasons
- Smoking is not allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- A maximum speed limit of 10km is mandatory on the property.
- Bins are shared with the hosts and will be placed in an accessible area.
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone; 2degrees and Spark have no signals.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pets onsite include 2 dogs. One is a livestock guardian dog who sometimes bark while out on the property. He is kept indoors at night. The other dog never barks, both are extremely friendly and may come to visit any guests.

Farm Guidelines:

- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health
- All paddock fences are electric. Therefore, guests are required to stay within their accommodation area to avoid any hazards.
- There are 2 horses and 3 sheep. The horses roam the property during the day and are paddocked at night for safety. The sheep are free to roam and tend to avoid human contact.

Important note:

- Keep in mind that no smoking or outdoor cooking is permitted on the property for safety reasons
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
