The house includes two bathrooms: a family bathroom and an ensuite off the master bedroom. The large, north-facing sheltered deck is equipped with a BBQ and outdoor furniture, making it ideal for al fresco dining and accommodating up to six guests. From this deck, you can relax and watch the cars travel along the Great Ocean Road, from Separation Creek to Sturt Point.
Access the property via a stone staircase from the parking area, which has space for up to three cars. Enter into the upstairs open-plan living area, where a central open wood fire separates the dining and living spaces. A cozy nook to the side houses the TV and an additional couch. Glass bi-fold doors from the dining area open onto the ocean-facing deck, providing a seamless indoor/outdoor living experience with the soothing sounds of the ocean and the gentle breeze through the trees.
The kitchen offers a traditional beach house style, complete with open shelving, an electric free-standing oven and cooktop, plenty of cookware, and a microwave, although there is no dishwasher. The adjoining north-facing deck, sheltered from the south-westerly winds, features a BBQ and outdoor furniture.
Downstairs, you will find three bedrooms, the main bathroom with a shower and toilet, and the ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom. All beds are equipped with electric blankets, and there is additional heating downstairs for winter warmth.
The garden is enhanced by a range of Australian native plants, attracting many birds and wildlife such as echidnas, koalas, and wallabies. Wye View is the perfect place to enjoy nature, unwind, and take in the serene surroundings.
