Nice place. Yogyakarta is a pretty conservative place in terms of gender. Since I never saw an adult woman swimming in the lovely rooftop pool I reluctantly denied myself that experience.

Swiss-Belboutique Yogyakarta is a beautiful hotel. Clean and safe. They have a gamelan player in the lounge lounge in the morning. It was great that it was near the university, though it takes an hour to get there from the airport. But rides are cheap (make sure to download the Grab app before coming here - as it's not really a walkable town).

Hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly. Our room was corner room, it was next to busy street, it was very noisy. Could not sleep well because of traffic noise. We also found a baby cockroach in our closet, which really put me off. Breakfast was very good.

Nuestra estadía fue muy buena los 5 días que estuvimos allí. The Swiss Belboutique is a very decent hotel. I love the location, not too far from the Borobudur or Prembanan and the Kraton/Taman Sari. Walking distance to the Malioboro district. The room is very decent size and well appointed and very well maintained. Great hotel staff, friendly and engaging. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in town.
