Featuring a paved area with an outdoor table and chairs. Barbecue (disposable barbecues only). A lovely private south west facing courtyard ideal for enjoying the afternoon and evening sun. 

On entering the house via the newly carpeted hallway, the sitting room is situated on your right hand side.

Dining/Sitting Room: A light airy open plan space with newly fitted carpets. A marble dining table with four chairs features in the dining room. Double doors leading into the sitting room which features a Victorian sash window and replica log fire. The sofa can be made into a comfortable double bed. TV with amazon fire stick which will give you access to netflix, prime videos, youtube etc. Free high speed wifi is available. Playstation, board games, books, plenty of entertainment for a night in!

Kitchen: A newly fitted kitchen which features a brand new cooker, dishwasher and fridge.

Bedroom 1: This is a spacious master bedroom. It has a luxury comfortable double sized bed, a side table, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror. There is a single pull out bed, for an additional guest if required.

Bedroom 2: This is a smaller bedroom with two comfortable single beds. Featuring built in wardrobes, side table and shelving.

Fabulous house and location
The house was well laid out, immaculately clean and comfortable. The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy. A beautiful house for a really restful break - we would use this again!

Lovely place for a getaway
Lovely, clean and well refurbished property in a great location to explore York. The parking permit was a real bonus. Really fabulous place. Would love some more pictures up in downstairs rooms to make it really very special indeed.

Easy check in, we made simple dinners both evenings of our stay and had all needed kitchen items - very clean. Very easy walk into the walls and York Minster. As is clearly noted in the listing, the only toilet is on ground floor, and all beds are up some typically steep Victorian stairs.

Stop on the way to Scotland
We had a great time in York. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location although a little hike from the train station but manageable. We used a taxi and it was inexpensive and fast. Daily walks to the town were easy.

Perfect spot
Lovely house with everything you need provided. Very comfortable, and we wanted for nothing. Short (10 minute) walk into centre. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back!
