It is a more elevated B&B experience but with the same homey feeling, the property is beautiful, the staff is kind and friendly, you can totally feel the British vibe all around.

Only stayed one night for a quick visit to York but received a warm welcome from all the staff. It was really quick and easy to walk into the centre of York from the hotel. The breakfast was lovely.We had such a lovely time we will definitely try to return for the Christmas market later this year.

looked like a retirement home on arrival how wrong were we everyone very friendly staff and guests room clean and tidy bathroom could do with a spruce up but overall okay Shout out to the young lady who was on the bar nothing to much trouble ordered a taxi for us changed our glasses made us feel realy welcome

This was a lovely place to stay in a lovely city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and run with military precision. The room was clean snd comfortable. Ideal location for our long weekend in York. Highly recommended.

As soon as we arrived were greeted by tim on desk very friendly nothing too much trouble, that good booked for november, short walk into centre lovely breakfast, room clean, on top floor no good if u have mobility problems, did not know it had 3 floors but that did not dampen our stay would definitely recommend

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful while the noise at night at around 12 am was bad, as some neighbour visitors spoke very loudly at night while I can hear them very clearly just like they were talking in the same room.

We had a really warm arrival. The bedroom was spacious. The breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and table service. The hotel and a lovely big front garden with plenty of tables and chairs to sit out in the sun. The bar in the hotel was very reasonable. The local of the hotel was in walking distance of York.
